More Sneak Peeks!

Good morning friends! I hope your weekend was great! Mine was ok...my 8 year old and myself were the only ones that made it to Church yesterday...but I'm happy to report that I think (cross my fingers) that everyone is doing better!! I think we're all finally on the up swing of this yucky stuff that's been hanging around!
I've got some fun images to share again today...more new stamps from Lizzie Anne Designs! So here we go! This first card, is a nice blank note card. Sometime I find myself just needing something blank to write in...so enter the scene this card! I've used a stamp set called "Timeless Textures" and it is super fun! I love the different textures and can't wait for you to see them...they are awesome!

This second card is made with a set called "Dare to be Fabulous," isn't that a fun one!? I love how this dress went so well with my Bo Bunny Olivia paper...simply fabulous, don't you think!?
This last card for today might be my favorite of the whole sneak peek...I love the way it turned out!! The stamp set is called Teens and Tweens and is full of fun images that teens and tweens would love...but I do too!! I paired this set with some MM paper and Raspberry Fizz stars!:) My niece will love this card...can't wait to get it in the mail! (which will be a very significant day for me...as my need to go to the post office is almost as big as Christmastime!!)
I hope you take a peek over on the LAD blog and check out the new stamps and see some of the other girls work...it's always so fun to see what everyone does with new rubber!!
Have a great day...thanks so much for stopping by! Remember to laugh until your cheeks hurt today...make it great!

It's the cold/cough/runny nose bit for most, a sore throat for some, and something called "Bronciolitis" for Max...bummer. We're doing our best to kick this..but let's just say we're not over it yet!!

Here is another of the sets of cards I've made to send to those folks that have given Max gifts...I just stayed clean and simple and wanted some that were easy to produce quickly. I'm still working on getting the cards all written...it is taking more time to do that than to make the cards!
I used an old favorite SU stamp set-"Think Happy Thoughts"- and I also used the PTI rick-rack die...so fun!!

A Note of Thanks

Happy Saturday! I'm all sorts of excited about the fact that today is Saturday!! One of my favorite reasons is that I get to leave Max home with dad and the other kids and go to Turbo Kick! I've really missed getting my "kickin'" in during the past weeks and it makes a happy mommy to get to class...yea for that !!

Another reason that I'm glad it's Saturday, is that we just get to slow down! We are just a little family with little people...but there is a lot of "busy-ness" that comes in every day life! I'm glad we don't have a milion places to go/things to do...so we can just be home and enjoy that. I did take Ruby(who will be 3 in Feb.) to the Dr. and they said what she has sounds a lot like RSV! We're hoping we get better and not worse the next few days...with RSV being a virus, they don't really have a treatment, and then we have an 8 week old baby in the house...so I'm washing/cleaning/sanitizing/and then more and more all over again! I think it will be good for her to have a few days of staying home and just laying low...keep your fingers crossed for me ok!?

So, with all that, here is my little bit of fun today. I L.O.V.E. this paper from Sassafras...isn't it awesome!? I made some of these up for the thank you notes to send my friends that came to the shower we had for Max...very "boy" card wouldn't you say!?

The sentiment and shape punches are from SU, as is the cardstock. I also love Tangerine Tango and so happy that SU is keeping it around!! I also used a fiskars border punch and a bit of yummy black ribbon!

Have a lovely one friends. Laugh until your cheeks hurt and don't forget to comment to enter yourself again into the running to win some fun blog candy!! TTFN and take care!

Thanks

Hello friends, happy Friday to you! I hope you've had a good week. It's been a wet one here...I know that the Seattle area is known for a lot of rain, but it always amazes me still (after living here for the better part of 10 years) at the amount of rain that comes from the heavens! It's been a rainy week, and I've been told we're in for more...so how about some bright happy colors today!? We're off to the Dr. for my little Ruby...bad night with really shallow breathing...luckily my Max slept all night and let me get a few hours in! I'm hoping we'll just get told she has a cough...clearing my mind of what she might have!

I've had my Silhouette SD (which I LOVE!!), since May of last year, and have decided I want to learn how to use it better and use it more often...so I decided to make some words to put onto some cards I am looking forward to sending. (My sweet friends had a shower for Max and me last night...it was so fun!)
I knew what paper I waned to use on my card, knew that I wanted to keep it simple and clean...and this is what I came up with! Can you believe how deliciuos this Crate Paper is!? I LOVE the whole collection...and love getting it out to play with! I used my PTI large scallop die for my scallops and use the "Fling" font to make my letters...and attached them with some Tombo Multi adhesive. My ribbon is from SU as is the gray dsp I used for my "thanks".

I hope you have a great weekend!! I've got more to share...so come back and visit!! And don't forget that I'll be choosing a random comment from yesterday through Monday's post for some Basic Grey Ambrosia paper...it's so pretty too!! **Kathy Mc, I need you to email me your information so I can send you your Wizard!**

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to laugh till your cheeks hurt today!!

I Adore You

Good Morning Friends! I'm excited to be here again today...that means I've been productive! My sweet kidlets are playing well together, sleeping well, and back at school...and that means I've had time at my desk! I've cleaned it, dusted it, and updated my Boutique page with items that are looking for new homes! Karen, you won the Spellbinders Wizard! (My dear friend Susanne lives in Germany and I can't ship the wizard there...so you were the next winner!) Please contact me today so I can get your wizard sent to you!

So, I've got a new Blog Candy to post today...I've got a Basic Grey Ambrosia 6x6 pad to give away today! You can see it here...it's delicious! How about this for fun, I'll choose a random comment from todays post through Monday's post, so come back and visit often! I'll announce the winner with Tuesday's post and also post another chance to win another fun pice of candy(it's a great one!)!

So, after that fun, here is my card for today! I've used the MM "Je t'Adore" line again. I paired it up with some Early Espresso and Riding Hood Red paper. I used my "From the Heart" stamp set from LAD, for my images and then pulled out my heart nestabilities dies to go to work!I also used the LAD sketch challenge for this week for the inspiration for my card. You can find the sketch here, on the LAD blog.

I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

All You Need...

Good morning friends. I hope you are all doing well!! We've had a bundle of rain...flooding and such and I'm so thankful that we're not in flood trouble! We've got a couple of bridges that come over a valley to our little town...and I can't belive how much water there is out there! I thought we were going to have to resort to using paddles out the windows of the car!!

It's days like these, (and we've had quite a few) that make me so happy that we're all set to stay home and be cozy! I've got some more Valentine Decor to share today...maybe one more tomorrow!
I love this song...and more than the song, this phrase! "All you need is love." I think this is so true! I used some cut wood, sanded it just a bit so it didn't give me slivers:) and then added my MME valentine paper. I rounded the edges of the paper with my favorite thing ever--the corner chomper, by We R Memory Makers. I cut the vinyl with my silhouette and then added it to my blocks. Oh, I put the paper onto the wood with Mod Podge and then after it dried and I had attached my vinyl, I added another coat and let it dry. I tied it up with some creamy tulle...and there you have it.

And stay tuned...as I've been cleaning house I've got a fun pile of great blog candy!! I'll announce the winner of yesterday's candy and then post another fun thing for tomorrow!! So, stay tuned! I figure it's better to share it with people that want it than not, right!? Remember..laugh till your cheeks hurt today!

Be Mine..and some Candy!!

Happy Tuesday-that feels like Monday-everyone! We had the kids home from school yesterday and while it was as crazy as ever at our house, I was excited to get some of things made! I've been trying harder to use what I have to make decor for our home. I figure I sepnd the $ on things I love, why not use them in my home...they make me so happy!!

This "Be Mine" banner went together relatively quickly, I had seen the pennates at Ben Franklin(my favorite place to browse lately) and have had them since right before I had Max. I was going to make a Christmas banner...but let's just say that didn't happen! They are chipboard and made by Paper Accents.

I picked up some great new MM valentine paper at Paper Zone on Saturday and was happy to have stopped in on a day when everything in the store was on sale...it was so fun! I am totally in love with the whole line, it's called "Je t'adore". I love the romantic feeling of several of the papers, the and the fresh clean lines of the stripes and polka dots! It's pefect valentine paper! I paired it up with some other MM paper, the black paper is from the Paper Reverie line. IT is SO delicious...don't wonderful products make the creation process so fun!? Here are some close up photos....I used some Tulle, MM glittered letters(YEA!! I've had these for a LONG time!), and some misc. ribbons.

I hope that you are having a great day! I've got a few other Valentine Decorations to share, so will do so in the next few days!:) I started something this morning that I really didn't want to do...I'm purging my craft space!! I've got some things that I haven't touched for over a year...am I safe to help them find another home!?
I haven't done blog candy for a while...so here goes my first blog candy of 2011! It's a BIG one...but super fun!! I've got a product that has only been used 5 or 6 times and is perfect condition. It will help you cut shapes, borders, etc. It has a really fun name, it has 1 Z in it's name(so I can't spell...sorry!)! The first person to comment with the proper name of this product will win it! You are welcome to comment and leave some love, even if you don't need a new die cut machine!;)
Thank you all for being so supportive and for the great friendships I've made though sharing my passion for creating!! I hope you enjoy the things I share...I appreciate hearing what you think!:) Have a great day...and remember to smile until your cheeks hurt!!

I recently got a fun package in the mail from my friend Tiffany, she sent me the most wonderful combination of treats!! These papers and that beautiful flower were part of the fun...thanks so much Tiff!!

I hope you have a great weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Remember...to have a good laugh today!!;)

I resolve...

Good morning friends! Here we are already Friday! Today is the LAD design team challenge. Our challenge this month was to create a card based on one of our new resolutions for the year. I've been thinking about being a more "light-hearted" person. I'm pretty laid back most of the time and don't stress out about big things..it's little things that cause me to stress most of the time! So, my theme for the year, from the Happiness Project, is to remember" the days are long, but the years are short!"
I was looking through my stamps to determine what I wanted to do for this challenge...and when I saw the image I used, a tree with a tire swing...it gave me the perfect feel for my resolution! The tree/swing image is from "Welcome Home" and the sentiment is from "Card Quotations". I used some more of my MME paper...I've been on quite a MME kick lately...it's calling my name!!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by, I appreciate it! Have a great day...and don't forget to "laugh till your cheeks hurt!"

Kiss Kiss...

Good morning friends...hope you're doing well this morning! We went to bed last night to light snow falling...love this crazy winter weather!!

I've got a little something to share from the "Lucky in Love" Winter Mix. I love this pretty little heart...and the "kiss kiss" is sure to make for several great valentines!!
The paper I used for this card is from MMe, isn't it just delicious!? I'm really liking the combination and a little different than expected valentine colors!

I'm off to make some hot chocoalte and keep everyone warm and cozy!! Have a great one and thanks for stopping by!!

Plane Fun

Good morning friends! I hope you are doing well! We're having a bit of FREEZING weather...and I'm happy to be at home today...staying nice and warm! Here in the NW we don't usually get such cold weather for so long...rain yes, but not this freezing stuff!! Thankful for my heat dish today!

I have a fun little card to share that is made with a fun image from the Winter 2011 Mix, Lucky in Love! Isn't that plane great!? I know this plane will see a lot of places..it's pefect for several of the boys-young and old-in my family!
I paired the plane image with a sentiment from another LAD set, Things That Go. Which happens to be another GREAT boyish type set, but could be used for eithe boys or girls depending! I used some MME Alphabet Soup paper and sprinkled on a few PTI buttons...quick and to the point!

Hope you are staying warm and enjoying yourself today! Thanks for stopping by! Make it a great one!

Time...

Time, how fast it goes!! I'm really working on figuring out how to get the things all accomplished in a timely manner...I just want to play with my baby all day long! I have to admit that I've been smitten and am hopelessly in love with him! We are having so much fun with him! My heart melted last night...he was laying on my bed and I started talking to him and he LAUGHED at me! I got a big smile and then he laughed several times at/with me! I don't know if there is anything in the world more wonderful that the laughter of a newborn babe! I had to share...and here's a photo of my sweet Max,
He is growing like a weed, eating and sleeping like a CHAMP and I am just in heaven friends!!

Onto other things...I've got a card to share today with a new single from LAD, it's called Wise Man's Treasure. I think it's a great image...I wanted it make a more masculine feeling card...and this paper just fit the bill. It's from Basic Grey. Time...I'm working on getting a better hold on this for the coming year. I want to make sure I'm spending my time on things that are really worth while and that will help me become better. I want to capture my sweet moments...and remember them for always! I am working hard to treasure my time and make sure it is well spent....as it goes faster than I'd like I know this will be a daily work in progress!!

Thanks for stopping by friends...have a wonderful day, well spent!!

Hot Dog!

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a good week. It's amazing how out of our regular routine we've been...with new baby and being out of school for two weeks...today was rough! I was the not so nice mommy that made everyone get back into doing their jobs...that wasn't fun for anyone! We did have fun once we all got our jobs done...here's to hoping tomorrow brings with it a few more smiles about "routine"!

I've made a resolve...to MAIL my cards again! I've gotten into a rut, to just make most of them and then they sit...NOT in 2011! I'm going back to my roots and make cards to send to people I love! Coming from a large family (Max was grandchild 43 for my parents!) we've got plenty of people that love a little something special in the mailbox on their b.day! With facebook, email and texting, it's easy to say happy birthday--but those little special nuggets in the mailbox are SO much fun to receive, that I'm really excited to get myself back into the habit!

So, here is one of the first cards going out tomorrow. I think this stamp set is one of my all time favorites from LAD...it's called Party Animals. It's been around a long time...and I think it is a super great kids/easy masculine/great girlie birthday set! Very versatile...if you ask me!:)
I paired up this "hot dog" with some fun animal print paper from sassafras...great bold colors for our first birthday of the new year!

I'm going to send more cards again...anyone else just find themselves hoarding what you create!?

I hope you have a great one...thanks a bundle for stopping by!! See you tomorrow!

Happy New Year!

Good morning friends! I hope you all had a great New Year celebration...2011 is here...wow! I'm excited for this new year, hoping to impove a few things about myself...so starting to think about what I want to be better at...make a few little goals, do you make resolutions!?

I've got a little fun from LAD today. This cute little image is one of the January singles, "Love you a latte"...isn't it a fun one!? This single was released on the 1st, you can pop over to the blog here, and see what else was released. It will be great for Valentine's Days, but I think it can just be a great "just because" image also. I'm really excited about it!:)
I paired it up with some delicious papers from MME, I love the colors in this collection...simply delicious!! This little one is off in the mail already...can't wait until February!

Hope you all have a great one...thanks so much for stopping by! I'm ready to get my daily posts (well, M-F) back running again...so thanks for being patient with me and sticking with me while I enjoy my little newborn. Who, by the way is no longer a tiny little newborn! He weighs over 14 lbs now and is just about 7 weeks old! He is so much fun...I'm seriously loving every second I get to hold him!

Thanks again for stopping by, have a great day!!
