Happy Birthday!!

Good morning! I hope today finds you all well!! Spring break has been great...I LOVE not needing to set an alarm in the morning!! My kids really enjoy the slower pace as well...yay!!

I wanted to share the last installment of birthday cards I made for the teachers at our elementary school! This stack of 21 will finish out the year for all the staff getting a happy birthday card!!

I got some new Neat and Tangled stamps and can I tell you how much I LOVE this triangle stamp!!?? Get out...I LOVE it!  And this fun birthday greeting, um, yea!!

Then, of course I paired it with another favorite, Hero Arts Neon ink!! I made some with each of the 6 neon colors. Gotta say, that ink rocks!!   I was in mass production mode, and I used my MISTI and oh, it made getting a good stamp SO much better! My results are perfect--there were some I needed to r-eink and re-stamp and with the MISTI it makes that process not a big deal at all!! I love that tool!! In my opinion, because I do mass produce and such, I totally think the MISTI is worth getting!!

And here are the other colors, oh, I didn't get them all...orange and purple got left out!! But they are also so pretty!! I hope the teaches will enjoy them!!

I hope you have a great Wednesday...thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Birthday

Hey there friends!! Hope you are well!! I am getting closer and closer to meeting my new baby...just 4 more weeks!! I've got all sorts of things going through my head--things I need to get done before my baby comes...but I haven't been feeling very good! This baby is really doing his own thing...very different from my other kids! I am still getting to the gym and am loving the sanity that  working my body brings, and am SO thankful my body isn't it pain during this pregnancy!  But in all other areas, I'm not doing quite as well! So, that is the reason for my blog being quiet the last few weeks! I am hoping my surge of energy and feeling good comes back soon...I sure do miss it!:)

I have a new paint splatter stencil from Crafters Companion, and guess what, I happen to LOVE it! I think it is such a fun stencil! I chose to work with reds/oranges and used my distress inks for this card...SO fun! I have to say, the more I distress inks, the more I LOVE them!!!

I also used a new Hero Arts stamp set...isn't that typewriter fun!? I remember when my parents had a typewriter like that...it was SO fun to play on! I needed a quick birthday card for my daughter to take on a gift tonight, and thought this a super easy and fun card to send!

I hope you are all well...I will get back to reading and loving blogs again...hopefully not to far in my future! I sure do miss sitting and gawking over the beautiful creation in blog-land!! Take care my dear friends, and I do have cards ready to share for next week, so I'll see you back here soon!!

Happy Birthday...scraps...

Hey there friends! Hope you are doing well. Happy weekend eve! It will be good to have another busy week end and a wonderful weekend begin!

So, it's been a bit gray outside and well, I had these scraps sitting on my desk. Do any of you ever have that little pile of scraps that are from past projects and just seem to keep lingering...not really finding a home anywhere and just sitting there calling to you? Well, that is what this card started as, a bunch of scraps just sitting around! My heart is SO happy that my little pile of scrap papers is no more....it made me so happy!

Some of the elements might be a little familiar...yep, some of the rejects from other days!
I was happy to pull out some of my new PTI stamps...the Bountiful Banners and To You from Me stamp sets...love, love, love!!

I pulled out a few new blue sequins...delicious! I am so excited about the sequins...my friend was having a moving sale. She had a TON of crafting stuff...like a lot of us;). Anyway, she had loads of sequins, loads...and I bought them, for a dollar. 1$ for all of them! It's like a little surprise finding what colors, sizes, etc...it totally made me happy!! So, meet my beautiful blue sequins...don't you think this card could be masculine? Maybe more so w/o the sequins?

Anyway, hope you have a great weekend...see you soon friends!! Thanks a bundle for stopping by!

Happy Birthday

Good morning friends! I hope you had a great weekend. I had a GREAT Saturday! I was able to go to one of our local craft stores, Ben Franklin, and participate in the Northwest Paper Chase! I was able to do a make and take card, using some fun GRS stamps! It was such a great time. We all know paper crafters are a great bunch of people...twas true of my new friends at Ben Franklin! Everyone was so kind, it really was a great day!

I've got a fun birthday card to share today. I needed some cards that could be "neutral" as to going to a man/woman...don't you think this fits the bill? I love the papers, they are from Pebbles, yes, they are the very same ones I can't put down! I think I might go grab a couple more packs of the 6x6, because I love it so much!!

I was inspired by a card I saw pinned from Kristina Werner...surprise, surprise! Love her clean and simple perfection!
The sentiment, is a Simon Says Exclusive, designed by Kristina herself! I love her sets of handwritten sentiments! I've loved her handwriting for years! It's SO much better than mine and I love that I have it in stamp form!!

Take care, thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful Monday!!

Happy Birthday!

Hello dear ones! Happy day to you! Today is a fun day, it is the GRS design team sketch challenge! So, here goes some fun! I hope you have a pair of shades handy, this card is a bit BRIGHT! I got myself some of the hero arts NEON ink pads...oh my heart! They are super, duper fun!

I pulled out my Vintage Birthday stamp set...it is such a great set! It's been a while since it has seen any ink too! I thought it would be fun to use that bold ink with a slight "vintage" feel. I have to tell you how much I love this party hat! Isn't it awesome! And in neon pink, be still my heart!
I used some of my brightest rolls of washi tape for my background stripes...and the fun continues!

I hope you take a look around the other DT's blogs...the sketch is a great one! Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow for more fun!!

Happy Birthday

Good morning friends! I hope you are doing well! I wanted to share a card that I made for a special friend for her birthday...

I used my Heidi Swapp color magic paper, and Georgia peach color shine again...love that color! Which come at a total surprise to me...usually not a peachy girl! My pretty butterfly is also a color magic piece, from Heidi Swapp. I used the teal color shine on that one!

My sentiment is from a Think Big set from PTI, and it is embossed with black embossing powder.

Simple, classic and full of pearls...and super special!

Hope you have a great one friends! Take care and I'll be back tomorrow with more fun! Oh, and I just got my Cupcards To Go kit in the mail...you are going to LOVE this new kit!! I can't wait to share with you!

Wishing you...

Hello friends! I'm back! I was gone for a space to CHA, it was SO much fun...I think one of the highlights for me was getting to hug on so many great friends! It is funny, the blog-land that we are all a part of. I have so many friends that I live so far away from-and some people that I wonder if I will ever get to see! Then there is an event like CHA, that brings us all together. It was a great time...I loved seeing all the wonderful booths. There is a load of wonderful product heading our way! Oh, the joy and love of paper and pretty things!

I am hoping to share a few fun photos from my trip, but while I am experiencing a tiny bit of technical trouble, it is too painful to do that right now!! I will upload and share when I don't have to have the patience of Saul to do so! (Know what I mean!?)

I wanted to drop in quickly today, I'm caught up on all the laundry, cleaning, and food shopping that I missed so much while I was away ;), and now back to my happy spot! I love this little golf cart! It is one of GRS new Truffle sets, and isn't it lovely? I needed a masculine birthday card, and thought this would fit the bill! I pulled the sentiment from the Banner Birthday set, one of my all time favorites!

I think this photo feels a slight bit grainy...so sorry for my technical issues! Hopefully they will be solved with haste!

Thanks a bundle for stopping by! I'm back and ready to roll! I just found out that my Cupcards To Go kit is in the mail...so that is something fun to look forward to! A valentine kit, chuck full of deliciousness! So stay tuned for some fun! Thanks for being patient, you are all so great!

Have a great one and Happy Monday!

Happy Happy Birthday!

Hello there friends! I'm back in my "boy birthday bash!" I've got another masculine card to share! I kept my same color combination, you know that I'm like that, right?! I love the bright new leaf green and deep enchanted evening blue...yum-o-rama!

I used my Grunge Me and Fillable Frames 1 stamps...I just stamped off to get the lighter shade of green...tied it up with a bit of denim twine. I added a new leaf button, because buttons can be "masculine", right!?
Have a super duper one, take care and enjoy!! We have been having just awesome weather...and wow, what a difference the sun is making for me these last couple of weeks! LOVE it!!

Thanks for stopping by...tootles!

Sending Birthday Wishes...

Hey friends! Good afternoon! I hope your FRIDAY is going great! I have to mention a Happy Birthday to one of my favorite authors of all time Dr. Seuss! My kids have been talking about this birthday for a few weeks...and were SO excited this morning! We did have a "seussical" breakfast, green eggs and thing one and thing two cake batter pancakes! My kids loved our fun breakfast...and it made me giggle! After school we've got a Horton Hears a Who movie viewing and some fun "seussical" activities...Thanks for a wonderful collection of memories Dr. Seuss!!

So, my card today is a little something we made at my card class a couple of weeks ago. The kids at the elementary LOVED this one! Can you guess their favorite part!? Yes, the glittered clouds were a hit!

I used Mat stack 4 and the layerz mat stack 4 for the fun shaped frame for the kite. The kite is from LAD, and I love it! The birthday wishes sentiment is from PTI, everyday button bits set.

For the glittered clouds, I used some adhesive paper and cloud die. We simply pulled the liner off the adhesive and then dipped the cloud into the glitter! The girls all really loved this bit!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! We're hoping to make it to see the Lorax tomorrow..oh, the fun! Take care and thanks for stopping by!!

A little birdie told me...

Good morning friends! Happy Monday to you!! I hope that your weekend was wonderful and rejuvenating! We had snow on two different days, sun, rain, slush...it's been a crazy weather weekend! But, I got a lot accomplished, don't you love those types of weekends!?

I wanted to share a sweet little birthday card I made, with my new Prescription for Spring Diner's club stamps! I think the little chick and bunny are such cute images!! I thought I'd pair this little chick up with a fun saying from on of my ALL time favorite stamp sets, Party Animals!

I think she is SO flippin' cute! I thought she would be a perfect little image to use with some yummy October Afternoon paper...a little "vintage" right!? Super fun!!

Anyway, this little beauty is going to pop into the mail soon...and she is so excited!;)

Hope you have a great one! Thanks so much for stopping by! Make it great!!

Celebrate!

Good morning friends! I hope you are doing well! I was really happy to get a few minutes today to take part in a challenge! It's been WAY too long since I've thrown myself into a challenge! I love that there are so many fun ones to participate in...but today I chose the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger !
So, here is the photo that I used as my inspiration! Isn't that an awesome quilt! Cath always does such a great job finding inspiration to share! So, I used some fun Paper Smooches stamps...
I was inspired by the colors and the numbers of course...so here is the first birthday card of 2012!
I'm going to refresh my resovle to send more cards. I did up my sending this year, but I have a bunch of stamps in my desk...hoping that I can get even more cards to the mailbox this year!!

Happy Birthday!

Good morning friends! I hope you are doing well! Today is the day for the GRS design team challenge! Our challenge today was a color challenge and I loved this one! I love pops of color, and the orange in this one really makes me happy! It's nice to use a fresh color combination after a bunch of more traditional holiday colors! I'm excited to share a little bit of what I've been up to, along the gifting lines...I'll have a fun post tomorrow, so see you soon! I'll be posting some blog candy...my birthday is coming and how better to celebrate that with some fun for you too!?

So, here is my card for the challenge, I used a couple images that I really love, the birdhouse stamp and that birrthday wishes stamp...they both really make me happy!

I hope you'll take a second and look at the other dt cards--it's always a fun treat! You can find links to their blogs on the left hand side bar! And check the GRS blog for the full detail and the fun image we had for inspiration!

Wishing you...

Good morning friends! Wow, today is already Wednesday!? We got home from our trip, I've done mountains of laundry, unloaded bags a plenty, and even gotten our Christmas decorations up and running...it feels SO good! I've been in heaven listening to my ALL time favorite Christmas album, the Hotel Cafe presents Winter Songs! Let's just say that I LOVE it to pieces and really count the days until we can listen to it! It brings back wonderful memories and I love reliving them through this great album! Do you have one of those albums?!

So, getting to my card for today. I used my cute little stacking doll image again...my little Ruby is having so much fun with her! She is from the new Diner's Club set, Let's Celebrate! I decided to make her into a fun birthday card. My sentiment is from the Banner Birthday set, one of my favorites...such a fun birthday greeting!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great week and I'll see you back here soon! Make it great!!

Today is the first after school card class of this session, and my daughter and I are really excited! There is something SUPER fun being in a room full of kids that are excited to create! We'll be making this little number here... I was inspired by a card in the latest issue of Papercrafts for this one. I pulled out a rick rack die from PTI and went to town!! My happy birthday stamps are Paper Smooches and in a font I simply LOVE! I used crushed curry, pacific point blue and rich razzleberry for the colors on this card...oh, how I love these colors! I'm off to finish getting all preped for the class this afternoon...thanks so much for stopping by!! I appreciate you taking the time, make it great!!
