All You Need...
It's days like these, (and we've had quite a few) that make me so happy that we're all set to stay home and be cozy! I've got some more Valentine Decor to share today...maybe one more tomorrow!
I love this song...and more than the song, this phrase! "All you need is love." I think this is so true! I used some cut wood, sanded it just a bit so it didn't give me slivers:) and then added my MME valentine paper. I rounded the edges of the paper with my favorite thing ever--the corner chomper, by We R Memory Makers. I cut the vinyl with my silhouette and then added it to my blocks. Oh, I put the paper onto the wood with Mod Podge and then after it dried and I had attached my vinyl, I added another coat and let it dry. I tied it up with some creamy tulle...and there you have it.And stay tuned...as I've been cleaning house I've got a fun pile of great blog candy!! I'll announce the winner of yesterday's candy and then post another fun thing for tomorrow!! So, stay tuned! I figure it's better to share it with people that want it than not, right!? Remember..laugh till your cheeks hurt today!

Be Mine..and some Candy!!

This "Be Mine" banner went together relatively quickly, I had seen the pennates at Ben Franklin(my favorite place to browse lately) and have had them since right before I had Max. I was going to make a Christmas banner...but let's just say that didn't happen! They are chipboard and made by Paper Accents.
I picked up some great new MM valentine paper at Paper Zone on Saturday and was happy to have stopped in on a day when everything in the store was on sale...it was so fun! I am totally in love with the whole line, it's called "Je t'adore". I love the romantic feeling of several of the papers, the and the fresh clean lines of the stripes and polka dots! It's pefect valentine paper! I paired it up with some other MM paper, the black paper is from the Paper Reverie line. IT is SO delicious...don't wonderful products make the creation process so fun!? Here are some close up photos....I used some Tulle, MM glittered letters(YEA!! I've had these for a LONG time!), and some misc. ribbons.

I hope that you are having a great day! I've got a few other Valentine Decorations to share, so will do so in the next few days!:) I started something this morning that I really didn't want to do...I'm purging my craft space!! I've got some things that I haven't touched for over a year...am I safe to help them find another home!? Friday, February 12, 2010
A few more...
This first photo is a little take out box that we filled with some chocolate hearts...then tied up a nice tulle bow and added a sweet little tag. The tag is a real red scallop heart and then a heart from the MME paper. The sentiment is from the So Much Love LAD set...yep, it's definate keeper of a set! I stamped it in real red ink, then punched it out with my small oval punch and made an aqua large oval punch to put it on. I used my SU small heart punch again and added a bit of color.
The same color combo(surprised?!) found it's way to a wrapped giant candy bar for Ms. Kari, my son's piano teacher. We really had fun wrapping it up and making it look pretty!! Same ingredients as above, with the addition of a beautiful red button and some twine!Thursday, February 11, 2010
I heart you!
As soon as my daughter found the box on my front porch and brought it up to me...I was in love. I started cutting and mixing this great paper, and it was SO much fun! So, I'll quit the gabbing and get to my sharing! This is my take for the CPS sketch 153, that is the current sketch on their blog.
As mentioned above, I used Aqua Mist, Real Red and Crushed Curry cardstock on my card. My card is Aqua Mist and then I used two of the delicous papers from MME. I used a strip of crushed currry and a fiskars border punch to cover the seams of the papers and then a nice bit of tulle...sorry, I'm stuck!
I used my nestabilities, scallop and classic hearts. I mounted the large heart and then added the two smaller ones. I used a little bit of red bling...from Martha Stewart, and my little Ruby was chomping at the bit to get to those!;). My sentiment was stamped in real red ink. The sentiment says "i heart you", and is in the So Much Love stamp set from Lizzie Anne Designs. I covered the "heart" with a little heart I punched out with my new little SU heart punch.
I went to the post office and mailed all my valentines today--a full book of stamps worth, and then a few extra packages and got home and realized that I only have 1 valentine left in my stash! YEA! Isn't that fun? I'm excited for our loved ones to find some love in their mailbox! My niece that is at college will be so excited to get some happy mail---I'm doing good on my resolution to get more happy mail into my loved ones mailboxes!!

You're out of this world!
I used the A Little Love digital paper for my paper. I printed it on a light weight cardstock and found it a perfect weight paper for this project! I used the cute little rocket stamp from the A Little Love stamp set as well. I colored the rocket with copic markers and the mounted the rocket on a piece of turquoise paper. I used my crop-a-dile to punch a hole for my ribbon and then tied the rocket to the container. The container is full of tootsie rolls...and a perfect little valentine to share with classmates!I'll be back with more fun tomorrow...see you then! Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate it so much!! Have a great one!

Valentine Wishes!
I've got a lot to get accomplished before I go to CHA, so here's to a great productive week! I have a load of new stamps to share with you! Lizzie Anne had a release on Friday, and oh my...I'm in love! They introduced a new line of stamps, Sixlets..and I'm loving them! I used one of them for this cute little Valentine for today. This set is called A Little Love. Isn't this little fairy delicious!? Let's just say my daughter can't wait to make her Valentine's for her class mates...her wheels are already churning!
Another fun thing to note about this card is the use of this great digital paper pack! I got a new printer for Christmas and it made me so happy to have this paper to print...it is GREAT paper! It is called A Little Love and there are 9 different papers in the set. The colors are fresh and very fun for either girl or boy valentines! I'm really starting to love the digital paper option...I have it for always and forever!I started with a real red card and a couple of tempting turquoise eyelet borders. I used a strip of the rainbow heart A Little Love paper and then tied it up with a 5/8" red grosgrain ribbon. I stamped my little fairy and colored her in with copic markers. I used my oval and scallop oval nestabilities to cut her out. I added the oval to my card with dimensionals.
So, there is one of the fun little valentine's I've got for my stash! I love to mail valentines and tell my family how much we love them! I'm trying to be better(a resolve I made for this year, 2010.) at sharing my love through the mail. I'm into week 3 of sending just cards, just because! YEA! I even needed a new book of stamps!
Hope you have a great evening! I've got some fun little ideas to share tomorrow. We made a few attempts for valentine treats for my kids to give to their classmates...see you then! Thanks so much for stopping by!
