Thank You

Well, good morning friends!!! I hope you are doing well! Summer is almost over, we had a wonderful really long vacation and I have missed being at my desk doing what makes my heart so happy!! Missing paper and pretties is ok, right!!?

I am here sharing the new Retro Sketch for the week! It's a great one...

And here is my take on the sketch for the week! We went to a wonderful picnic with some families from my husband's work. It was a super fun party and my kids had a ball. The girl that planned it all was an awesome party planner!! I wanted to give her a little something for showing us such a good time, and thought a bright floral something would be perfect!!

So, I grabbed some bright colors...you know how much I love them!! I pulled out my flowers from Maggie Holmes, and started layering!! I used a PPP stitched tag die and then just layer it all up!! My sentiment is from PTI. I gotta say, I LOVE the different textures and prints in that pack of flowers from Maggie Holmes!!

Congrats!!

Good morning!!! I hope you are well!! I am not dead...nor have I fallen off the face of the earth!! We've had internet problems that made me want to throw my computer off the rooftop, end of school crazies, and now summer with my 5 sweet people home with me!!

I've cut way back on the amount of time I've been able to spend at my desk....my kids are in a place where they are requiring me more and I love that!!! But, it means my posting here will be a little less....just in case anyone still checks in here ever!!

I'm sharing the new sketch for the week, over at Retro Sketches!!! 

And here is the card I created....it is time for several congrats envelops from our house these days!!! I wanted to keep this one masculine...which is always a slight stretch for me!!

I used some Altenew and PTI stamps. My stripped background was made with a Heidi Swapp stencil.

Here is the card that I made for today...I whipped out this little number super quick and think it is a sketch that will be seen over and over!!

I used a bit of Dear Lizzy Paper and a bit of silver thread....oh how I've missed my silver thread!

You know that stash of water color paper you have that you've spent time playing with but never used!!? I grabbed a piece of it and cut it down and knew it would be perfect for this sketch!! I paired it up with some of my favorite...black and white stripe paper! Can't really go wrong there, right!?

Hello!! I'm so glad to be popping in today!

I missed posting last week due to being gone for spring break! We had such a great time being together with our families and all sorts of people we love!

I have a new Retro Sketch to share with you today!! This fun new sketch....

I decided to pull out these cute little super heroes. Oh, I love them!! I just pulled out some bright sunshine colors....we are enjoying mid 80 degree weather!!? So all sorts of bright sunshine colors busting out here!! I have a few people that are being life savers as of late....so this one has a date in the mailbox already!!

 I recently enjoyed a little bit of happy mail from the Ellen Hutson...don't you love a package from her store!!?  I used the Up the Happy stamp set and matching dies on this card. Could you die!!? I love, love, love this sentiment!! It sounds very much "Julie, HRR" to me!! :)

I used a little bit of Heidi Swapp washi and some assorted sequins...and copic markers! 

Can't wait to see what you come up with for the challenge this week!!

Good morning!! Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is going well!! We've got a few basketball games today and maybe a trip to Costco...just your typical fun filled weekend here!!:)

I'm excited to share this weeks new Retro Sketch!! It is based on a card of mine from way back!!!

Here is my new take one the sketch!! Just turned on it's side a bit!

Oh my...don't you love this awesome Corner Sun Rays Quilt Die!! I love the details, just like those found in all the Frantic Stamper dies!! I love the little faux stitched lines that this die brings...be stillmy faux stitching heart!! I die cut 4 different papers with the Sun Ray die, and then attached my white "frame" layer if you will, to the card front. I then just slipped the fun patterned papers in as I liked!!

I also used the Pinpricked Circles dies for the cute stripped circles and the little white "donut" my kids like to call it!! I think the pin-pricked detail and the faux stitching are great together!!

I stamped my sentiment onto one of the smaller of the Stitched Double Fishtail Label. I love that all of these dies bring the faux stitching to my card...ties it all together so great!!! My sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Hello friends!!! Wow, it feels good to be back!!! I am finally getting to my boxes of my supplies. Moving has been harder than I anticipated!! I hope I am on the way to getting my office set up and oh, I can't wait!!!

I used some of the new January release from Frantic Stamper! This fun gift is from the Gift and Bows set...that silver foiled bow...love!! The sentiment is from the Mixed font Happy Birthday set. It's one that I think will be one I use quite often!!

Hello!! I feel like my stamping and blogging has been slightly put on hold as we have been settling into our new groove!! House is great, the kids are doing well in school, making friends and ever thankful for the dear friends we miss every single day!! Moving a family of 7 has been a big deal!! But, with the Holiday upon us...we are doing great. I am just about ready to get my office set up! I've been working out of just a couple of boxes that came along for the fun, and I can't wait to get all of my goodies out!! I'm missing the fun...that is for sure!1

So, today I've got a new Retro Sketch to share! Here is the sketch for the week: 

And here is my card!! I pulled out some fun Frantic Stamper Dies for this card--I have to say I love this snow-globe and these trees!!?? LOVE

I used the Snow Globe die, added a bit of a window sheet and some foam adhesive to make it a shaker...and also used the Snow Globe Triangle Trees. I also used the "joy" stamp from the coordinating stamps.

I hope your holiday is wonderful!!! We're doing all sorts of fun and starting our baking and treat making tomorrow.....I love this time of year!!!

Hello dear ones! I hope you are doing well. I am here today with a new Retro Sketch and a bit of TAWS fun!!

Here is the new sketch for the week! It's been a busy few weeks...hopefully you will have a chance to play a long!! We are feeling more and more excitement in my house for the upcoming holiday! My kids are loving all that goes along with the fun!!

So, here is my take on the card!! I used this sweet image from the Melt Your Heart Out set in I? I love this snowman!! I think he will be popping up all month!! I also really love the Happy Everything set. I used a couple of sentiments and stacked them for this cutie!!
