Hello my friend

Good morning!! I'm excited to be playing along with the PTI blog hop today!! I saw the inspriation photo and was super excited to play along!!!

Isn't this photo just beautiful! It was a great starting point for some inspiration!!

 

And, here is the card I made. I used some of my favorites...Rosie Posie!! I started with the center stage cover plate. I cut it out of some cardstock and used it as a stencil with my Enchanted Evening ink. I used the largest of the doily dies to create a vellum layer right over the stenciled background. Then I cut and stamped images from the Rosie Posie set, and used Rosie Posie 2 for the details. I used Hibiscus Burst and Raspberry Fizz inks on my flowers. I used my MISTI to help me get the details in the right spot on my flowers and it made my heart SO happy!! I used a couple of springs of leaves from the Turning a new Leaf die--I think that is the only leaf die I used 98% of the time I need green for my flowers!!;) My sentiment came from Sketched Shapes..and I cut the ends of my strip into little fish tails on both ends before nesting it into the bouquet! My last touch was a little scattering of clear sequins...

PTI Blog Hop!

Good morning friends! I am always excited when I actually get to play along with the PTI blog hop, instead of just cruising the gallery and gawking! I am stoked to share today...I did more water coloring and that means I am getting more brave!!

 

I used the current Retro Sketch for the layout for my card, a sketch is always a great place to start, don't you agree! And I loved this sketch...so it was a fun card to make! The challenge for the hop today is Gloss!! I loved this inspiration photo...and kind of got stuck on the beautiful green colors...and who can resist a pop of peacock feather blue!?

 

 I pulled out my distress inks to help me with my water coloring fun--smooshed the ink pad onto an acrylic block, added a few mists of water and then stamped the acrylic block onto my watercolor paper...WAY fun!! And I couldn't think about it too hard...which is perfect for me! I also colored the butterfly that same way--acrylic block smooshing!

 

I used Fabulous Frames--and the photo makes it hard to tell, but it was embossed with clear embossing powder so it is super glossy, as is the butterfly! I used the Happy Birthday from 'Be Happy' and think this is SUCH a perfect birthday sentiment...perfection in a font is what I think!!  I added a few little black hearts that were coated with glossy accents and yes, they are super glossy too!!

PTI Blog Hop

Hey friends! This is post #2 for today, so be sure to scroll down for the GRS design team challenge...and our shaped cards!

I am happy that I am getting to participate in the PTI blog hop this month! I love seeing the great cards that come from the challenge! This month, Nichole challenged everyone to use textures--the fall/winter textures of wool, herringbone, felt, etc. 

I am filling an order for some wedding cards, and wanted to do a simple and slightly elegant card--that had texture to it! 

I started with some felt-black and gray that I die cut with the Lovely Layers die. I stamped a white piece of cardstock with soft stone ink, and my background basics diamond stamp. I love that these sets coordinate really well! I added my sentiment from mega mixed messages set. I rounded the corners on my white card front, then added it to my card base with dimensional adhesive. I added a nice big rhinestone and called it good!

PTI Blog Hop

Good morning friends! I hope you are well! I was so excited to get a box of delight from the postman late last week...oh, the joy of paper, stamps and dies! I am happy to get to play along with the PTI blog hop today! The inspiration photo that Nichole posted was so pretty!

I decided to try my new Lovely Layers stamp set...Oh, my word. I LOVE this set! I pulled out Harvest Gold paper, and a little Crushed Curry ink, New Leaf and Aqua mist...YUM!

I also used one of the Think Big stamps...love those!

PTI Blog Hop!

Hello friends! This is post #2 for today...so if you are looking for the new Diner's Club set reveal, please scroll down! I was excited to participate in the PTI Blog Hop today...looking at the inspiration on Nichole's blog...I had to play along!

I used polka dots 2, Mat Stack 4, Rosie Posie, and Beautiful Butterflies stamps...I LOVE the fonts in this sentiment! I used the matching dies as well. I also used the Make-it Monday #63 challenge glittering my leaves...the glitter shimmers really pretty in real life! My main colors are Spring Rain, and Raspberry Fizz. I cut my leaves out of Simply Chartreuse, then rolled them through my X sticker maker and glittered them with some green glitter. My layers are done with a couple of different dimensional adhesives...and my twine is Pink Sorbet from the Twinery. (Did you know that GroopDealz is doing a twinery deal right now!? They have 8 colors of twine for 8$ a roll!! I love when they do this deal!)

PTI Blog Hop!

Hey friends!! I know I'm a bit late in joining in on the fun of the PTI blog hop...but I wanted to share the fun I had!! You all know I'm a crazy one for yellow...and let's be honest aqua too! So, this challenge was a super fun one for me!!

I used my Rosie Posie set, Banner builders, Say it in style...and some yummy new Echo Park paper on this little number...

I used Rosie Posie again...(can't get enough of it!) with some aqua patterned paper...and signature greetings! I love these colors together so much!!

I'm glad I got to participate in the hop this month...I've really been loving my PTI lately!! Thanks for stopping by!!
