Butterflies....

Good morning friends! I hope you are doing well...I have some fun to share today! Being the 15th, GRS has some new appetizer sets being released today! Oh, these could be my favorites so far...I LOVE them!!

This first card is featuring the Butterfly Trio set. There are some super fun butterflies...I don't think I will ever have enough butterflies...they are always so fun and different is SO good! I did a little bit of "generation stamping" with stamping off for the lighter colored butterflies. My sentiment, which is PERFECT for so many cards I need to send at the moment, is embossed with gold embossing powder. And yes, added a few gold sequins...love! I used Hero Arts inks for the beautiful colors!

 This next card, not meaning to go over board with the butterflies, but hey, I love them! These butterflies are die cuts and the little one was punched out. I used strips of paper to cover a larger sheet of cardstock, then ran it through my big shot with my dies, so the butterflies got their bright colors that way!:) The paper is from pebbles...My sentiment, oh my word! You are going to LOVE this new set!! It is called, Say it Big, and you will really LOVE the selection of sentiments/fonts etc., it is a really FUN new set, and I love it!!

New Stamps!

Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend yet?! I sure am! Kids only have a half day of school today, so we are getting a head start! My kids LOVE Friday afternoons...here is hoping we have nice weather so they can play outside! Fingers crossed...

Today is a super fun day...new stamps being released from GRS today!  Thees two new lovelies are going to be staples, I will just tell you now! I have already found my daughter with one of the two sets, can you guess which!?

Yep, this great little "Magical Birthday" set! Isn't that unicorn divine!? I added the sentiment from "Once upon a time"--because I needed a birthday card for next week! I masked the cute little unicorn and stamped her with hero arts inks...yum! Oh, and how about that lovely May Arts ribbon!? LOVE! The rhinestones on the horns look really cool in real life...don't know why they don't feel that great on this photo? But, believe me, they are cool..my daughter told me so!

 This next card is for my son. My husband and son have a tradition of going to watch the NCAA playoffs...this is the 4th year! They are heading out next week, and my son doesn't know the extent of the fun trip planned for him...so I thought this card would be fun to tell him about his surprise!

The stamp set is called "Have a Ball" and let's just say this set is going to be well loved too!! My son thinks it is so cool! Super fun!

Hey, good morning friends! I hope you are all doing well! We had a great weekend...it was very productive for me! My sweet husband took my kids swimming Saturday and so I got some quiet time at my desk! I had a lot of fun!! I am so happy that I've got a few new paper pads and such to play with! Oh, my 100 yards of seam binding came! So, I have to say I LOVE it! I splurged and bought me a bunch of Heidi Swapp Color Shine in December--and now I can have any color ribbon I need! I love that so much! 

I used some color shine to make this lovely blue ribbon...perfect to match my beautiful paper! I picked up a couple of new Pebbles 6x6 pads...can you say LOVE!? I think the color palette is just perfect...wouldn't you agree?

I used one of the new GRS Bubble Sentiment stamps...so much fun.

Hey There!

Good morning friends! I hope your Valentine's Day was wonderful...I had a hot date with my husband--it was GREAT! My kids had one of their favorite baby sitters and all was well! 

Today is a fun day at GRS! There are two new appetizer sets being released today. And, I have to tell you, one of them could be in my top 5 of all sets...the Bubble Sentiments are delightful! The Queen Bee is really great too, but I LOVE the Bubble Sentiments! Check out the blog to see the reveal of the full sets!

On this first card, I pulled out my sweet Little Monster. It's been too long since she's seen any ink!! I paired her with one of the new Bubble Sentiments...and there you have it! Quick and fun!

Good morning friends! I hope you are doing well! I am doing well! Don't you love those weeks when your workouts really WORK your body and you are sore for days!? Well, this week has been one of those! I love that when I stand up and walk after sitting for a few, I am reminded of the joy of my workouts!!

I am happy to share your this bright card with you today! I love this phone image from GRS! I love, love, love it! It is from the recently released Appetizer set, "Just wanted to say." Isn't it great?

Hellos friends! Happy Friday to you! I am happy be here sharing today! Today is a fun day, it is the GRS DT monthly color challenge! I really loved the soft color palette...and new stamps!

 

This new stamp set is a new appetizer set called, Rustic Floral. It is a great new set! The green background image is one of the included images, and isn't it great!? So versatile and a super easy pop! I used some Memento markers to color my stamps. It's been a long time since I've used markers on stamps, and oh, it was fun!!

Peace and Love...

Hello friends! Happy Monday! Can you even believe that Thanksgiving is upon us!? How in the world is 2012 almost over!? It is amazing that the stores are decked with Christmas!! We were at target the other day and my daughter was all sorts of confused as to why Christmas decor would be up and it wasn't even Thanksgiving yet!? 

So, today I've got another card made with the new Appetizer sets from GRS, Peace and Love Flowers...fun, fun, fun! I embossed the flower image with clear embossing powder...I LOVE that effect! And yes, there is a hint of the Chevron Coverall on that strip of gray!

Well, I've got a fun crazy week ahead of me...I'm sure you do too!

Happy Heart Day!

Good morning friends! I'm back today with another little something in the way of new stamps! I used the "Happy Heart Day" appetizer set that was released yesterday.

This is a fun set...I love this awesome flower image! Now, I know stamping in yellow is generally not super easy to see, but this one looks way better in real life! I promise! I love the yellow with gray....a bit of a change from the "traditional" heart day colors, but I think this could be given year round, don't you think!?

I used soft stone cardstock for my base, then used some washi tape...love those yellow polkas! My frame is a die cut-from Fabulous Frames, from PTI. The grey polka dot paper is from Echo Park. My yellow flower is super pretty and bright in real life...the words on the inside of the flower petals say "love" over and over and over again! My twine is from the twinery and my heart punch is an oldie from SU. I used versamark and white embossing powder for my sentiment...love that effect!

Hello friends! I hope you are having a good one! I'm popping in today to share some new fun from GRS! Two new appetizer sets are being released today! Happy Heart Day and Peace Love and Flowers are two new sets that you will love! You can take a peek over on the blog...fun, fun, fun!

I used one of the images form the Peace Love and Flowers set on my maple leaf today! I embossed it with clear embossing powder and oh, I love that image!

My paper is from a MME pack...don't you think that is great "fall" paper? I also used the thankful stamp from the Holiday Season Sampler set.

Sweet Holiday!

Good morning, happy Monday!! I feel like it's been WAY too long friends! We had a great week/weekend this past week. My 8 year old daughter was baptized this weekend, so my husband's parents came to town and I was preparing for that and enjoying those moments!! They left yesterday afternoon, and after my kids stopped being quite so sad that Grandma and Papa are gone, they went to bed and I got a chance to play with some new stamps!!

Today, GRS is releasing the October Appetizer sets, they are SO fun!! This cute little sentiment is from the Gingerbread Greetings set. It's a great set that I'm sure will get a bundle of use this holiday, as we like to give away sweet treats!

I used a bit of EP, Holly Jolly Christmas paper, and I have to say I LOVE the combination of colors!

Good morning! Hope you are all doing well!! I know, in my mind, it is a bit early for Halloween, but I had so much fun with these new stamps from GRS! You'll love this Invite to Fright appetizer set! It will be perfect for many of your Halloweening needs!

I pulled out my Halloween paper box and got to work on some great paper. Isn't that a fun place to start!? I loved this polka dot, a bit weathered and matched the feel of my stamps exactly! It is from Echo Park. I used my Chevron Coverall for my lovely chevron delight! I used Soft Stone ink/cardstock from PTI. I used some dies from PTI, Mat Stack 3, Doily, and Limitless Layers. I happen to LOVE the sentiment in this set! Isn't that a great one!?

Warms thoughts...

Good morning friends! How are you doing today!? Hope that your week has been great and that you are ready for some great weekend!! My kids always look forward to Friday night movie night so much...it makes me giggle almost! It's a fun tradition and we love to enjoy treats as we watch...I'm excited about that part of our night tonight!!

I've got a fun little number to share with you today!! GRS has this great new Appetizer set...it's called Clothesline Greetings. Isn't it so fun!? I love the fresh and flowing images! I used some fun EP paper to paper piece these cute suits and towel...love, love, love!!

I'm so excited for the day that we have swimming suits and towels on the clothesline again!! Those lazy days of summer won't be here until at least the 22ndish of June, but we're starting to really look forward to those days!

Appetizers!

Good morning friends! I hope you had a great weekend...relaxing, full of excitement, productive..whatever you needed, I hope you got it! Mine was great, went a BIT faster than I'd like, but alas, happy Monday to you all!

Today is a fun new product day from Gourmet Rubber Stamps! They have started a new line of stamps that are know as "Appetizers!" Isn't that delicious!? I'm sharing cards I've made with the "Mother Knows Best" set and "Spring Botanical" appetizer sets.

 I love this paper...the color palette is so great!! It feels good having a couple of cards for Mother's Day already finished up...yea!! I love that frame....I colored in the flowers with some copics and added a few little pearls...mothers and pearls=a perfect pair!

I used some fun paper for from Pink Paislee for my inspiration on this next card! Soft, romantic, and a bit "vintage" inspired! I have to tell you how happy I was to find this delicious honest to goodness vintage button in my collection! That beautiful rose center of my tulle bow is from a vendor in Texas...I've got a large jar of "vintage" buttons that I love too much to use!! But, I'm busting a move and I'm going to share the love and use them on my projects!! Aren't you proud of me!?
