Just for You

Hello there!!
I am so happy to be popping in today!! Getting myself back in the groove and it feels so good!! My baby slept like a champ today....love those days!!!

I pulled out a few things that hadn't seen love yet...or for a long time!! I started with the Scribble Flower dies from Frantic Stamper. They were release in December...and I think they might be a new favorite!!

I started out looking for a sketch, as you know that is a great spot for me to get back into gear, so I went to this weeks Freshly Made Sketch!! I pulled out a stencil and some distress ink to give me just a hint of a background...just a hint!! I cut the flowers out of some yummy Heidi Swapp paper and I love the fresh and bright colors...I think I am ready for sunshine!! My just for you is from the Neat and Tangled set, Just for you. I added a strip of black cardstock to my cardbase a bit of foam tape and there you have it!!!

Celebrate

Good morning! It is FINALLY the last day of school!!! Oh, I think we are the last kids in the country to get out of school!! To say that I am excited...well, I am!! I love having my people home--we are excited!! My kids are just thrilled. So, here is looking at couple quickly filled months of summer!!

I needed a quick little something the other day for a friend. I saw these fun images from Neat and Tangled in my stamp box and just needed to get them inky!!! I do love me some good polka dots!!

I used the punchinella stamp and versamark ink then heat embossed the image with white embossing powder. I masked off the image with post it tape, and then used distress ink and a blending tool for coloring in the image. I stamped the celebrate in black ink from  the just for you set.
My balloons are from PTI, and are cut from my Maggie Holmes paper pad...love that stuff!!! I added a little bit of silver thread behind each balloon. I attached the strings just under the front panel, then attached the panel with foam adhesive to the card base.

Love, love, love me some good stamps!! I am playing along with the Little Tangles current challenge, which is a sketch...a great starting point for any inspiration!!

Take care, see you tomorrow!!

Thankful for you!

Good afternoon friends!! I am popping in with a quick little one layer card. Today is a beautiful sunny day and the sunshine inspired this quick little number!

I used this great sunburst image from Neat and Tangled...oh, how I love it! I used my MISTI to ink it up, and then was able to get the different colors just like I wanted by adding more and more of what color I wanted...that tool makes my heart happy!!

The sentiment is also from Neat and Tangled....love it!! I am linking this up to the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge, to make your own background!!:)

I hope you have a wonderful day! Getting home from some perfect days at the Ocean means loads of laundry, grocery shopping and lots of putting things away for me today!!

Take care!! And thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Birthday!!

Good morning! I hope today finds you all well!! Spring break has been great...I LOVE not needing to set an alarm in the morning!! My kids really enjoy the slower pace as well...yay!!

I wanted to share the last installment of birthday cards I made for the teachers at our elementary school! This stack of 21 will finish out the year for all the staff getting a happy birthday card!!

I got some new Neat and Tangled stamps and can I tell you how much I LOVE this triangle stamp!!?? Get out...I LOVE it!  And this fun birthday greeting, um, yea!!

Then, of course I paired it with another favorite, Hero Arts Neon ink!! I made some with each of the 6 neon colors. Gotta say, that ink rocks!!   I was in mass production mode, and I used my MISTI and oh, it made getting a good stamp SO much better! My results are perfect--there were some I needed to r-eink and re-stamp and with the MISTI it makes that process not a big deal at all!! I love that tool!! In my opinion, because I do mass produce and such, I totally think the MISTI is worth getting!!

And here are the other colors, oh, I didn't get them all...orange and purple got left out!! But they are also so pretty!! I hope the teaches will enjoy them!!

I hope you have a great Wednesday...thanks for stopping by!!

Celebrate

Happy Saturday again!! Today I get to share the new Retro Sketch with you...SO fun! I haven't used banners in a while, and it made my heart happy to bust them out!! The sketch is based on a great card of Erin's. Here is the sketch
And here is my card! I am in serious need of birthday cards, so I made this one a Celebrate card! I love this sentiment from Neat and Tangled!! I used a stencil and distress ink to ink the background. Then I used versamark ink and this fun bright embossing powder from AC. My banners are cut from some AC paper with dies from PTI. There are a few strands of yellow twine in there and a good sprinkle of sequins!! Of course!

My card is also made to play along with the current Little Tangles Challenge, Sequins!!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by!! Take care and I'll see you soon!! I can't wait to see what you come up with for this new sketch!

Happy Birthday

Good morning!! I needed a quick birthday card last week and had a hard time finding the perfect one, so I've taken it upon myself to fill my birthday card stash back up!!

For this card, I used a sheet of water color paper and added thick stripes of color. After it had dried, I used one of  my Avery Elle rounded Diamonds dies to make a window. I added some acetate, and foam tape. Then I stamped my sentiment in black ink and then placed my window over the image and that was it!! My sentiment is from Neat and Tangled!

Another quick and fun birthday card!! Take care and see you later!!
