Wishing you...

TGIF! What a week! I was lucky enough to get caught by a flu bug this week and it took me out for the count!! I am SO glad it was only one day, but now it feels like it will be a few days before I am really back at it....'aint nobody got time for that, the week before Christmas!?

 

I'm happy to be playing along with the very last BIC challenge today! It is challenge #60! And the inspiration piece is so great...wouldn't you agree!?

So I was inspired by the colors on that lovely white Christmas tree! I pulled out some red, aqua and a little sprinkle of gold!



 

My snowflakes are from Winters Butterflies and my sentiment from More than Words. I sprinkled a few sequins and there you have it!:) My layout was inspired by this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch, Karen always has great sketches!!

Stll, Still, Still....

Hey there friends!! I sincerely hope you are doing well!! December 5th is upon us. Today I'm over on the Be Inspired Challenge blog, sharing what inspired me out of the this great photo!!! Isn't this a beautiful collection of eye candy!!?

 

So, my first thought, was how much I loved the sparkle on the nutcracker!!! I pulled out some of my MS vintage glitter and went to town!! I pulled out some Winter's Butterflies snowflakes and my glue pad....that thing has sure been around a long time!! Sorry, back to the card. I used a sentiment from With Wandering Awe. This happens to be the title of one of my ALL time favorite songs!

Merry Christmas

Hey there friends!! I am excited to be participating in the Be Inspired Challenge today!! Today is the third week of challenge #59. Isn't that a fun photo!? I had a little something start in my head when I saw all of those colors!! I got a large shipment of sequins, and after sorting them all into their proper new home, there were some left on my desk, just a few of several colors...sequins are sure static!! So, When I saw this colorful image again, I had to do something with the sequins!!



 

SO, here is my card that I made for the challenge!! I made a window--it is window sheet on both sides, it just looked better and the sequins moved better that way!! The window sheet has been stamped with white Stazon ink, with the Winter Butterflies snowflakes! I had forgotten how much fun it is to stamp on a window sheet....I love the look! The mix that I filled the shaker with is now my "party mix"...as my girls named it. A great grouping of fun colors!! The sentiment is from Making Holidays Bright stamp set.

Be Inspired Challenge!!

Morning friends!! I hope you are doing well!! Today is another TAWS Be Inspired Challenge Day!! This collection of pictures had my brain going all sorts of crazy....so many ideas!! What I finally ended up with wasn't wild or crazy...just GOLD!!

I pulled out the Making Holidays Bright set, and used the lovely trees to make a pretty gold scene...I might be stuck on my Delicata pad for a while...love that thing!! My sentiment is also from that set...

I cut a few "hills" out of cardstock and then layered them on top of my trees...which I stamped with gold ink...aren't they fun designs!? My strip of washi went down and then my top panel is on foam adhesive...so there is a little bit of dimension.

Party Time!

Morning friends!! I hope you are well today!! We're enjoying a relaxing NO school day today!! We've got only a few fun things planned and are excited about heading to a trunk or treat at our church tonight...good times to be had!!

 

I'm playing along with the Be Inspired Challenge again today, #58.





I pulled out a fun stencil and used some black soot distress ink for my background. I cut a black tag, smashed a big wad of white thread (inspired by the spider web in the photo!) under my cute orange dino! He is from the Livin' Fossils set. My party sentiment is from the Prehistoric set and heat embossed. I have a few little spiders...I thought that this little friend would be a great addition to the card!! Isn't he cute!?

Happy Birthday!

Good morning friends!! Hope you are doing well! I am playing along with the Be Inspired Challenge today...#58 this month!! The challenge photo is lovely...don't you agree!?

 

 So, I pulled out a 12x12 Heidi Swapp stencil and some walnut stain distress ink and started on my background!! I used a frame die for the bright blueish/turquoise in the photo of the truck...I LOVED it!! Then I used several of the feathers from Tickle Me Happy....and the birthday sentiment is from Rock Solid. A small sprinkling of sequins...burnt orange and copper...and there you have it! I used some PTI Orange Zest, and Canyon Clay ink, Avery Elle Fizz ink, and Memento Rich Cocoa inks!

I used a few images from the Stomper, Livin' Fossils, and Rock Solid stamp sets for this card! I a I thought it was fun to have a little egg hatching as a birthday card! I seem to always be running low on thank you cards and birthday cards, so this will help the stash!!

Lava You!!

Good morning!! Wow, it's Friday!! My kids are finishing their first full week of school, I've been to all the curriculum nights and we've had soccer and basketball and I am thankful for the weekend!! We are going to have a semi-relaxing weekend and I need that!! I tell you, the school day seems to go in fast forward!! I will get my groove down...I will get my groove down...I will get my groove down!

I am excited to be playing along in my first Be Inspired Challenge, with TAWS! I was really inspired by the colors in the photo that is on the blog...go check it and have a go!!

I used the Livin' Fossils and Prehistoric stamps for my card. I used a bit of Heidi Swapp delicious paper and then colored my dino with copics. The hearts are from a SSS exculive die, holiday shapes.

 

Take a second and check it girls, play along, there is a lot of inspiration to be had!!
