Happy Day!

Wednesday is upon us!! Almost the end of March, can you stand it!? Days are fleeting these days!!

I'm excited to share that I am guest designing for Frantic Stamper this month! I have been SUPER impressed with the quality of the dies that I have received!! I have had quite a bit of fun and hope you enjoy what I've created as well!!

My card today was made using two of the Frantic Stamper dies, the Monarch Butterfly, and Happy Birthday Script. I was having fun with the butterfly and thought about making it into a window....
So, I First masked off a large circle and colored it in with my distress inks and ink blending tool. Then I cut the butterfly out from the circle, then I cut the butterfly out again with black. I put the black butterfly into the cutout in the circle, and then added some acetate to the back of it to make it a window. I added some glossy accents to the inside detail of all the butterfly and LOVE how it dried like a stained glass window! On the inside of the card, I cut another circle-green this time--and then cut out the butterfly again and another black butterfly to cover up the back of the card front. It looks so great in real life!!!

Here is the card opened, so you can see the light through the butterfly's wings!!
I cut the Happy Birthday die out of black, but cut the "birth" off of the day, so I could just make the sentiment a "happy day" card. I added a few sequins...and there you have it!

I hope you'll check out Frantic Stamper if you haven't yet!! Their dies are awesome and they carry a large range of products in their store!!
