Hey there friends! I hope you are doing well!! Here to share a result of my latest therapy session!;) My feet are starting to rebel me sitting or standing for too long...which means the baby is definitely getting ready to come! My girls are hilarious, saying, "mom, your feet and toes look so.....thick!" I told them that each of them had had this same effect on my toes and luckily after they were born it went away! But I will keep on keeping on until the day arrives!!
For my card today, I was totally inspired by the current Cas(e) this sketch, which happens to be a double challenge this week, teamed up with a runway inspired challenge! I was up for the challenge and went to town!
The black and white diagonal is a strip of Lifestyle Crafts Shape n tape. I used a paper smooches quotable die to cut the rounded edge and then attached it to my card front. I used my W+9 fresh cut floral dies and made some flowers. Then my hairbrained head decided to color them with distress inks, and add some spritz of water...and I ended up with these funky looking flowers! I attached them, some on foam adhesive, some flat. My sentiment is from SSS, which I don't think I can ever get enough of!! Then I had a light sprinkling of silver sequins...because every card needs sequins, right!? The black strips of cardstock are on my card base, and I added the card front with foam adhesive.
I hope you have a great day! Take care and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Oh, this is gorgeous, Jeni! I love your fabulous take on the inspiration photo and sketch!
A beautiful interpretation of the RIC/CTS challenge. Amazing color and detail (and, yes, everything is better with a little bit of sparkle)!
Funky, indeed!! I love those blooms - and what a brilliant idea to give them that watercolored look!! Super fun and cool! Wishing you the best with the last days of your pregnancy. Good job for keeping busy!!
