Home for Holidays

I am all for being home for the holidays!! We usually do make the treck to be with our families for the Holidays but the treck from Germany is a little long and the time change is TOO painful for me with 3 small kids!:) But we have enjoyed having visitors for Christmas...we had my parents last year and are trying to be patient in awaiting "Uncle Dallas" (my BFF brother) to come this year! We are really excited that he'll be spending the month of December with us..we can't wait! We are also having a cousin come visit the day after Christmas...so we will be with people we love and we can't wait!!

So, Lizzie Anne has a great Christmas set called Holiday Lane you can check it out here. It is really fun!! This cute little house has some fun things you can add to it like a stone pathway, picket fence, etc, really fun. It's a fun one! So, if you haven't seen it yet, take a peek, you'll love it!
For this card, I stamped the house with black pallete ink, and colored with my SU markers and mounted it on chocolate chip cardstock. The marker colors I used were, almost artichoke, creamy caramel, close to cocoa, chocoalte chip, real red, and going gray. I also used some red stickles for santa's sleigh and the bow on the door. Black stickles were used on the boots of stanta--who is on his way down the chimeny! The snowflake paper is from LAD pretty papers, part of the Winter wonderland pack. LAD is now offering Bazzil cardstock that coordinate with each of the pretty paper sets...SUPER...so if you like the pretty paper you can order the bazzil paper to match...I love having the guess work taken care of for me! :)If you click here you can see the great paper! I just put a stip of this pretty paper on an almost artichoke card, the tied some white taffeta ribbon round(su) and then did some faux brads with my 1/4" circle punch and chocolate chip cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are all doing well! Have a great one!

So charming. Love your coloring with the SU markers. Do you use Copics, too? I realize they are the rage but my SU markers have worked in so many ways for me . . . maybe I'll switch when i start doing more watercoloring? Hugs, M
