Hey friends! Hello, and happy Friday! I'm happy for the weekend..this is one of my most favorite weekends of the year!! We will be spending time gathered as a family, listening and watching the leaders of our church...a truly uplifting weekend is upon us! My kids all look forward to this weekend too...we've got some fun traditions and even my 4 year old remembers and is excited! That makes my heart really happy!

I wanted to play along with the SCS sketch challenge this week, I loved the sketch and had a great time making my card for today! I used some of my fancy new chevron ribbon...love. I used my Up, Up and Away stamp and Framed Out #1 stamp sets...glitified my clouds...used some delightful EP paper...and here it is!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend...sunny and wonderful blue skies!! Thanks so much for stopping by, make it a great one!!

Hello There!

Good morning friends! How are you all doing? I hope you are having a great week! Today is Wednesday- and it is an note worthy one! My baby turns one today! I am so amazed at how fast time flies!  My husband is going to be gone this evening, so we had cake and opened a few gifts last night. Want to see some fun!? This is my Max...and he is one of the happiest children I've ever seen! Really, he is happy like this all day long, every day! Even when he is sick, he is happy like this! I love this photo...showing a few of his MANY big boy teeth!
And he was a little standoffish at first about his cupcake--let's just say that that didn't last long! He ate most of his cupcake and sincerely enjoyed each bite!

Thanks for letting me share!! I can't believe a year has gone by--it's been a wonderful one! Going to 4 kids has been a leap and well, I'm just doing my best to stay a head of the game!!

Because today is Wednesday,  that also means that today is the last of our card making class at the elementary. I'll miss my fun little class--we've had a great time together! I'll pass on a couple of the things we'll be making tomorrow!

So, onto today's card!;) I LOVE this new MME paper...isn't it all delicious!? I have to say that I am simply stuck on it! I love the color combinations, the patterns, I love it all! I used the Splitcoaststampers SC358 for my card--and pulled out a few PTI stamps! Isn't it fun to pull out stamps you haven't used in a while...like getting together with old friends!!

I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by! Take care and make it great!!

Fun Flowers

Good afternoon friends! I hope your Wednesday is going well! We're having a little sunshine today...and after some rainy days, it is very welcome! My kids are screaming whilst jumping on the trampoline in the backyard with neighbors...fun for them! I want to share a quick little card, based off the SCS Sketch Challenge 270. I have this great paper from Kaisercrafts and I love it! The color scheme is so yummy!
All the patterned paper is Kaisercraft. My cardstock is very vanilla and chocolate chip. I laid a strip of chocolate chip across my card, then added three different patterns of paper. I added a scallop border-with the help of my ek success scallop scallop border punch. I stamped my sentiment-which is from the Card Quotations stamp set from LAD. My ribbon was tied into a bow, then attached to my card with a line of scor-tape. My button is an Ocean Tides button from PTI, tied with some twine and then attached to my ribbon with a glue dot.

I used my Big Shot and Flower Fusion sizzlet to make some fun layered flowers. I just scrunched them up a bit and then added a brad to keep them together. I added them to my card with glue dots.

I hope you have a great mid week evening! I'll be back tomorrow with an Elzybells DT challenge! See you then! Take care and thanks so much for stopping by!

Sketch Challenge

Good morning firends! Hope you are all doing well during these last few days for summer, or the first few days of school! I'm getting all excited to have my routine down, get back to some of my essentials that seems to get overlooked while the lazy days of summer pass!

Today, I'm sharing my take on the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge 241. This is the sketch that was posted, and below is my card.

I started with this fun tree image from the LAD September Monthly Mix "Something to Crow About," fun stamps for sure! I loev this tree! I stapmed it in chocolate chip ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. I layered the tree on some Chocolate Chip cardstock and then glitified the tree with my two way glue pen and some dazzling diamonds glitter. I know it's a bit hard to tell in the photo but the tree glistens something beautiful!

Following the sketch, I picked out a couple of different patterned papers from MME. I love that the whole set coordinates..that is one thing I love...coordinating products! I mounted the paper on Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze cardstock. I mounted both papers on a Very Vanilla card and moved to the sentiment.

The sentiment is also from the "Something to Crow About" stamp set. I stamped it in Chocolate Chip ink, and used my word window punch to punch it out. I layered that on a Baja Breeze Modern Label punch. I layered the Moderen label punch over a designer labler that had been punched out of one of the patterned papers. I added the sentiment with dimensionals and was finished!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make it a great one!

Sketch 229

Hello Friends! I hope you are all doing well! Today the weather is perfect! Not a cloud in the sky! Don't you love days like that!? I'm especially thankful, we moved back to Seattle to enjoy the wetest month of May in about 60 years!:) But the rain sure does make for a beautiful place to live! So, I'm welcoming the blue sky!

I was happy to get a chance to playalong with the SCS sketch challenge this week. Here is my sample for SC229. It is a great sketch and very easy to play along with!
I recently found this great paper by KI memories. I simply LOVE Amy Butler paper! I'm quite a sucker for it! It looks awesome and feels just as delightful! I love the combinations of color, prints etc., so here are some fun papers to share!

I started with my patterend paper today. After making the decision about what cardstock I had to coordinate with, I was set. With the sketch in hand, this card came together very quickly. My patterned paper was cut and attached to my Kiwi Kiss card.

I stamped the beautiful bird from the "Always" stamp set in basic gray ink-onto Very Vanilla cardstock. I used my stamj to line up my sentiment just right, it from the Sweet Little Sentiments hostess stamp set. I stamed my sentiment with Kiwi Kiss ink. I mounted my bird image on some Basic Gray cardstock and then again on Pink Pirouette. The image was then mounted on my card with dimensionals.

I used my boho flower and 3/4" circle punchs to make me some fun little additions. I love the Kiwi Kiss buttons...they are so delicious! I used one right on top of my largest flower. The other flowers were just mounted on a contrasting circle punch.

I'm really excited to get myself all moved in...we're down to days...YEA!! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you make it wonderful!:)
