A Note of Thanks

Happy Saturday! I'm all sorts of excited about the fact that today is Saturday!! One of my favorite reasons is that I get to leave Max home with dad and the other kids and go to Turbo Kick! I've really missed getting my "kickin'" in during the past weeks and it makes a happy mommy to get to class...yea for that !!

Another reason that I'm glad it's Saturday, is that we just get to slow down! We are just a little family with little people...but there is a lot of "busy-ness" that comes in every day life! I'm glad we don't have a milion places to go/things to do...so we can just be home and enjoy that. I did take Ruby(who will be 3 in Feb.) to the Dr. and they said what she has sounds a lot like RSV! We're hoping we get better and not worse the next few days...with RSV being a virus, they don't really have a treatment, and then we have an 8 week old baby in the house...so I'm washing/cleaning/sanitizing/and then more and more all over again! I think it will be good for her to have a few days of staying home and just laying low...keep your fingers crossed for me ok!?

So, with all that, here is my little bit of fun today. I L.O.V.E. this paper from Sassafras...isn't it awesome!? I made some of these up for the thank you notes to send my friends that came to the shower we had for Max...very "boy" card wouldn't you say!?

The sentiment and shape punches are from SU, as is the cardstock. I also love Tangerine Tango and so happy that SU is keeping it around!! I also used a fiskars border punch and a bit of yummy black ribbon!

Have a lovely one friends. Laugh until your cheeks hurt and don't forget to comment to enter yourself again into the running to win some fun blog candy!! TTFN and take care!

Two funny ~ I had to look up Turbo Kick to see what it is. The YouTube video showed pregnant gals in the front row. Looks like quite a workout. Happy to hear you got away for a bit today as sounds like you need some "me" time. Love your bright and cheery thank you card and the punched edge. Get Well Wishes to Ruby and will add you & your family to our prayers, Jen!

Oh, by the way... I got a silhouette for Christmas. I am loving it but really need to spend some time getting to know it and getting it all figured out. Adorable card!!!

Turbo kick is a new one for me, but then I am very old!! Hope you enjoyed yourself. Your card is so cute. I wish I had more of a chance to do kids cards. My granddaughters are in their twenties now. They can't stay young forever. Hope everything is well now at your place.
