Winter Wishes

Good Morning friends! I hope that you are all doing well! I'm enjoying a few fun filled days with my mom and sisters--so I hope the auto publish is working!:) Today I wanted to share a fun non stamped card...inspiration from a magazine a while back.
I started this one with a white card base. I mounted a red/white polka dot paper from SEI, onto my white card base. Next I added a strip of bermuda bay cardstock to the lower portion of my card, and then put a strip of real red cardstock that had been "scalloped" with my fiskars border punch over it, you can just see a hint of it under the red cardstock. I used some sticky strip to attach some bermuda bay ribbon-and didn't want to the polkas so I just used the "back" side.

I ran some white cardstock through the Big Shot with my snowflake BigZ die, and then mounted these fun to flakes onto my card. I used my nestabilites to make a bermuda bay oval and real red scallop for my oval to fit into. I used some alphabet stickers from MM to create my sentiment. The letters are glittered and very sparkly in real life!

For the last hurrah, I tied up a little white button with some red/white twine that I have been saving from some gifts my friend gave me...they were all tied up with this great twine! It felt the perfect little finish to my card!

Winter Wishes, well, in Utah right now, it isn't even feeling like Fall yet, but the wish is there still!:) Have a great one!!
