Really, doesn't time ever slow down! I can't believe how fast this week has gone! My son is enjoying this month of May tremendously! The only week that they go to school all 5 days of the week is the last week of the month! The weather is wonderful, so it's been great to have time off!
I've been working on an order of birthday cards, so I thought I'd share this one. I LOVE the summer picnic paper! It is in the Occasions Mini, that will be avaliable through June 30. The cherry stamp is also from the Occassions Mini, in the tart and tangy stamp set.
I used a bashful blue card for my base. I mounted the cherry paper on a piece of old olive and attached it to a strip of real red scallops (done with the corner punch). I then attached a strip of real red c/s to the top of the cherry paper and placed it on my card. I colored the cherry stamp with real red and old olive stampin' write markers on WW cardstock and punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch. I used the scallop circle punch to cut the old olive scallop and taped the cherry piece to it. I attached the scallop to the card with dimensionals. The sentiment is from a retired SU set-the name just left me, I'll get back to you with that one-stamped in old olive ink. I then used the paper piercing tool to add just a few little details around the scallop.
Thanks for stopping by! If you are interested in ordering your own set of summer picnic paper...or anything else for that matter, let me know and I'll get right on it!:) Have a super duper day!
