Tiny Treat Boxes!

I've loved Cambria Turnbow's little treat box forever! I've been really sad that I can't find peppermint pattys here in germany..and I haven't really found anything that I could use to replace them...until Thursday! I was walking through the candy/treats section of my locoal Kaufland grocery store and I did spy a little treat that is wrapped...and could take the place of the pp!! Now, they aren't circles, they are square, but hey, I do have a square scallop punch from Marvy Uchida...so the wheels started turning!

Cambria did a tutorial on SCS for her Tiny Treat Basket here and I had to play along! There was one catch, a 5" piece of paper was a little too big for my little square chocolates! So, I followed the same pattern, but made my starting square of cardstock 4 1/4" squre instead of 5". I scored each side at 1 1/4" and that made these cute "teeny tiny treat baskets". When placed in a little cello bag with a ribbon and a tag, they make a fun presentation!

I decided to make a few to give to my friends that have been bringing me dinner and such while I recover from my c-section...we gave one out on Friday night and it was received very well...so fun!

I made some with handles and some without. This group of photos is of one w/o the handle(which was 1/2"x6" for the teeny box). I have been seriously loving the Think Happy Thoughts stamp set!! I've had it for a few months and never used it..but since I'm so punch happy lately, it is fantasic and so perfect..I really am LOVING it!

Supplies for these included pink passion, pumpkin pie,& whipser white c/s, a set of retired paper from SU,Die Cut Blooms from the Occasions Mini, 1 1/4" and 3/4" cirlce punches, 1 1/4" square punch, a scallop square punch(MU),white organdy ribbon, and pink passion classic ink. On the center of the bloom on the box, I did also add a page pebble(MM) and it fit's perfect over the 3/4" cirlce!! I love when products coordinate!

I've got a couple more to share, I'll get them posted for tomorrow! So, see you lateres!! Thanks for stopping by!! And hey, let me know what you think!!

Talk about groovy colors. These look amazing. I'm terrified of trying to create any soft of box and need to get over it. Especially after seeing the wonderful work you have done :)
