Inspiration...

I received a long awaited package the other day...and the packaging was so super! And now that I'm writing this, I recognize that I don't have the package in front of me...but it was awesome! It inspired this birthday card...just clean lines, great colors and of course, chocolate chip in the mix!:) Yesterday I had a while to stamp and made a set of b.day cards to give to a friend. I really love how the pomegranate looks on the bashful blue! I've missed bashful blue...I of course love soft sky, but bashful blue is so 100% a favorite too!! I used the 5-Petal Flower Punch, with the In the Spotlight hostess set...Love that flower! The Happy Birthday stamp is from the
All Holidays stamp set...another one of my favorite things!! I really love the font of this b.day greeting...so fun!!

WWhite, bashful blue, chocolate chip, ballet blue, and purely pomegranate c/s, pruely pomegranate classic ink, 5 petal flower punch, all holidays stamps, 1/8" punch, vintage brads, dimensionals.

Here is one other card that I need to send to a new baby...but I decided to keep the same layout...and just tweek the colors a little. I used the Star Punch and then put them through my little Xyron "X" sticker maker, so all their points are stuck to the paper as well(love that little sticker maker, don't use it near enough...I really could use it every time I made a card!:) Great product!!). I went for the "faux" embossing look, putting the stars on the same color background...and then I decided to add a little sparkle! I took the chipboard star from theOn Board Accents and covered it with Versamark ink, (yippy, I got a transformer for my heat tool....thank you Chrysta!1:)) until it was tacky, and covered it with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder! I love that glitter! The sentiment is from a retired little stamp set called "Small Sayings". I added the chipboard to the card with a couple of mini glue dots.

WWhite, chocolate chip, and bashful blue c/s, star punch, chocolate chip classic ink, small sayings stamps, versamark, iridescent ice embossing powder, on board accents, mini glue dots.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm going to start posting a few Christmas cards tomorrow...I love making holiday cards...I'm so excited to start the whole Christmas music collection! I don't think I'll be able to wait much longer to put the music off!:) Have a great one!

These are great. I love clean lines. The first one is my favorite. I love the pop of color with the flower.
