Good morning friends! Happy Monday to you! I've got a little bit of fun going on today! I've been telling you that this month is my birthday...SO, yes, there will be a fun little bit of joy leaving my house and finding it's way to one of your homes...Friday is the day I'll post about what you can do to get your name in the pot! It'll be a fun little package in the mail...
Ok, second bit of fun for today, is the fact that today is the GRS design team sketch challenge. We were challenged to make a "pocket/type" card, following a sketch that looks a lot like this card! I decided that since it was my birthday month...I'd bust a move and make a fun birthday card!
The Vintage Birthday "Happy Birthday" sentiment is on a little card that pulls out of the yellow pocked. I used some of my new washi tape as the driving force behind my color scheme today. I got some new yellow chevron tape, and couldn't wait to use it!
My insert card is mounted on a fat strip of basic gray paper, and then has a bit of bright green washi, and this lovely PINK flower...from the Hello Friend stamp set. I colored it in with my copics...
If you pop over to the GRS blog, you can see the sketch and see the other girls work...ALL sorts of fun going on today!
Ok, stay tuned for a couple more glittered holiday cards and a fun birthday bit on Friday...!!

Happy December Birthday, Jen! Thought you stamped the chevrons until I read your blog post. Have been hoarding my washi tapes until yesterday when I used it for the first time. Love your bright & cheery birthday card!
