Hey there friends! I hope you are doing well! I did something I've never done before this weekend! I laid sod! We have a bit of our yard that has been nothing good on the eye for a while, our poor plants got sick and died! Anyway, my sweet husband has been slaving for a couple of weeks with a plan in mind...that plan ended on Saturday! Friday we spread 2 truck loads of topsoil, fill up bucket and buckets and more buckets of gravel--and made our children feel like slaves!;) Then Saturday we had almost two trucks of sod and large load of river rocks to take care of! I had no idea I'd become a sod laying momma! I have to say, what a wonderful sense of accomplishment comes with sod! Great green grass..love it!
So, in trying to nurse my tired and weary hands, I did a bit of homework! I am really loving the Kickstart online class--and was excited to get to some homework!
This card was made, using the current Freshly Made Sketch, and with a couple of tips from Jennifer McGuire. I pulled out a bit of scraps and went to town! I've got a couple more cards to share tomorrow that I made too...my creativity was happy and nurtured last night!
My paper is mostly from October Afternoon. My stamps and dies from PTI.
I hope your week starts out with a bang! Thanks a bundle for stopping by and take care dear friends!! See you tomorrow!
