Cardabilities Sketch 16!

Hello dear friends and happy last day of November! Can you believe the Holidays are upon us and in full swing!!? My baby is 14 days old today! How fast the time is fleeting. We are all so taken and in love with him...what a wonderful blessing he is! He is honestly fresh from heaven and 100% perfection...I thank the Lord for the wonderful blessing of being a mother...I've got photos of him to share tomorrow, so stay tuned!

I am so looking forward to these holidays...cozy snuggling with my new baby...fire in the fire place...spiced cider...wrapping gifts...sharing great excitement with my kids...witnessing the magic of this sacred season...I'm loving it all!! I'm sincerely enjoying slowing down my normal pace to enjoy and take it all in!

Today is a day for the Cardabilities Design Team to reveal our latest sketch...#16 to be exact! I enjoyed the sketch and hope you enjoy it as well. I used some fun new products...and think these cute little snowmen will make more apperances later in the coming days!
You can see the sketch over on the Cardabilities Blog and also see what other fun things the design team came up with...a sure dose of inspiration!!

I used some fun new holiday paper from Basic Grey...some tulle, red tinsel fiber, and some waffle paper from SU(the brown ruffle under my tulle). My stamps are all from LAD, the tall snowman is a single, the short snowman is from the Christmas in the City stamp set, and the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment is from the November Monthly Mix, "The Key to Happiness" stamp set.
I wish you all some wonderful warm winter wishes...thanks so much for stopping by! Take care and make it a great one!!

Baby on the brain...

Good afternoon friends! Happy Tuesday to you all...it's a very happy Tuesday in our house..the last one in fact that just 3 kids will live in our house!! We're so excited about next Tuesday...and the new baby we'll be bringing into our family!! I'm washing clothes, sorting blankies....and day dreaming about this new little bundle of joy that will be joining us so soon. We can't wait to meet him/her(as we don't know who it is yet!) and just want to hold this little one in our arms!!

So, here is a fun little Christmas card. I've a small stack of cards started...but really, I've got piles of fabric to make some blankets and such...that seem to keep coming before my paper! It's a wonderful blessing to have this time of year!
I love this image from the November Mix, The Key to Happiness, from LAD. I wanated to pair it up with these great snowmen....can't you hear their holiday salutation!? Love this paper from Basic Grey. I stamped the image in the center of my white piece of cardstock, then omitted the sentiment and stamped the ornaments 2 more times, to give me a longer row of ornaments. I colored the ornaments and added a bit of red glitter...bling is big for the holiday right!?

Hope you have a great day! Thanks for being patient with me while I go through the final days of preparing for new baby...we've got some fun to have and I'm excited to share with you all!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

So Thankful!

Good morningn friends! Ican't believe it's been such a long time since my last post! I've been working on getting myself and my house ready for a new baby...just 11 days away today! My body is also taking charge of what I get accomplished or not, sitting down with my feet down isn't an activity that the body really enjoys right now! Sorry for the long delay in posting...but I hope you'll bear with me!;)

I want to share a couple of gifts that we made for my kids' teachers at school. We had these great smelling fall candles...and wrapped them up with great fallish paper, ribbons and gave them a little pilgrim image to share our gratitude for some fantastic teachers!! The images are from LAD, the little Pilgrim Girl is a single and the sentiments came from the Garden Inspirations stamp set.
I've got some fun in things to share...next week I'll be back to posting more often!! Thanks so much for being such great and supportive friends...I'm so thankful for all of you that share just a few minutes of your day with me!! Oh, and for those that think I've dropped off the planet and haven't stopped by for a while..my reader has about 800 items in it right now...I'm getting there....keep up the great inspiration!!:)
