My Fabulous Friend!

Good morning, and happy Thursday to you! This week has proven that Fall really is here, we had rain yesterday...it's just started...and I think our play outside weather is on hold for a few months! So, I'm happy I have a bunch of things to keep me busy while we have to be indoors!

This fine feathered friend on today's card can still enjoy the outdoors, except the only feathered friends we've been seeing much of are black crows...not cute ruby red ones!

This is a card that we made in my class last friday that was "Just for Girls". The girls were from 8-12 years old and had a great time. I had an even better time watching them be so satisfied with creating something fun! It was a great class. So, onto the deets...
This is an all SU supply list today. My card started with me stamping the Bird from Good Friend in Ruby Red ink and then her legs and beak in Pumpkin Pie ink onto whisper white card stock. I mounted her on a square of pumpkin pie ink and set her aside.

My card base is Ruby Red followed closely with a Chocolate Chip strip of cardstock that was scalloped with the scallop edge punch. My dsp, is from the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit. I used the scallop border punch on that too. I added the scalloped pieces to my Ruby Red card and then adhered my bird to the card.

The embellishment was made with a chocolate chip ribbon, some linen thread, and a Ruby Red button. We mounted it on a Ruby Red 5 star punch and then on a Chocoalte Chip 1 3/8" circle.

The sentiment is from the Really Retro stamp set. It was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink, then punched out with the word window punch and mounted on a pumpkin pie modern label punch and attached to the card.

Hope you have a fabulous day...my fabulous friends!! Make it a great one!
