Love You Sew Much!

Good morning peeps! Happy Wednesday! I hope you've been having a great week! My time has continuted to fly by...and I'm trying to make the best of what time we do have! I'm trying to remember what it was like to be 5 or 7 years old...and remind myself to just really enjoy this time...these are thoughts I've been having today..."just live in the moment"...I'm working on it!!

Anyway, I have the new October Monthly Mix from LAD, and have been wanting to use the cute little sewing machine stamp...let's just say I'm loving it! I know just who the cards I've made with this stamp will be going to...she'll love them!

I started out with a sketch today, I used Beate's Weekend Sketch #101, found here, for my starting point. Whenever I need a little creative lift, Beate's blog is always a great source for that inspiration I'm those reliable blog buddies!
So, I used a whisper white card base. The yellow-or gold rather-patterned paper is from the DCWV Retro Mod pack--and I just noticed it's half price at fyi!:) I attached my yellow paper to my card and then mounted a strip of chocolate chip that had been given a little love by my SU eyelet border punch. A little bermuda bay ribbon and a chocoalte chip button found a home in the center of my bow. A little linen thread helps to keep the button right in place.

I stamped my sewing machine and then colored it in. I used some Copic markers..I'm working on which of those I need...they make the coloring process SO MUCH better than I've known in the past!! The quality of the markers...I can't wait to add them to my collection! I mouned my sewing machine on some Bermuda Bay cardstock and then attached it to my card with dimensionals.

My sentiment was stamped with black ink ask well, and the punched out with my large oval punch. I used the scallop oval punch and some Bermuda Bay cardstock for a nice little home for my sentiment. I also used the copics to color in the little hearts in my sentiment.

I hope you have a great day! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make it a great one!!
