Guess what the UPS man brought!?

So Monday morning I was stalking the UPS man. I'm not sure what time he usually comes to my house and I was dying!! I was so excited to get my box of sneek peek goodies and my NEW stampin' up! catalog! I was planning on just letting everything I needed to do just wait, because it's been too long since I've had time to stamp! I did manage to get a lot of work done before he came to drop of my box of joy...around 3:00 pm!

I am so excited to share the new catalog...it is DELICIOUS. That is simply all that I can use to describe! It is a fantastic catalog, in all aspects! So, let me share some of the fun I've had! I got the new In Colors--ribbon to match-yum--and a couple stamp sets.

I used the Circle Circus stamp set today-which I can promise you will be one of my favorite sets of ALL time! It is SO awesome! The delicious colors I used today are Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. I love these colors. They are so easy to use together, they are great, fresh and very "now"-"Go Stampin' Up!"

For my card today, I started with my circle from Circle Circus and Soft Suede. I lined the circles up in a gird like fashion on my whisper white cardstock and made a fun "patterned" paper. **I can see this happening a lot in my immediate future!**

I mounted that patterned layer on some Soft Suede cardstock and then added my beautiful Bermuda Bay polka dot ribbon. I added a touch of adhesive to the left side of my paper, to hold my ribbon in place and made the first pleat then stapled, then pleated a couple more times then stapled and so on until I came to the end of my cardstock.

My little circle embelishment was made by stamping the same circle I used for the pattered paper in Bermuda Bay ink and then punching it out with my 1" circle punch. I then layered it on a 1 1/4" Soft Suede circle and then 1 3/8" Bermuda Bay circle. I attached them to the card and then added my sentiment.

My sentiment is from the Level 1 hostess set in the current catalog-Sweet Little Sentiments. I stamped it in Soft Suede ink and then punched it out with my Word Window punch. I attached it with dimensionals to my card and then finshed it off with a Chocolate Chip button from the Latte collection.
