I started by punching a bunch of butterflies from my new Stampin' Up! pink flamingo designer paper. Aren't those colors delicious!? You will soon see how much I LOVE this paper! So, I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch to punch all these beauties out. I added a little glitter to each one, for more definition of their "body". I used my great new glitters from stampin' up and a two way glue pen for the giltter fun. When I attached them to the card, I used mini glue dots right in the center of them, so their wings could come forward.
My card is tempting turquoise, a layer of basic black, and then a layer of whisper white that had fun running through the Big Shot with my swiss dots embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Note of Thanks mini card set, also Stampin' Up. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and then punched it out with my large oval punch. My wide oval punch went to work with some Basic Black cardstock to make a mat for the sentiment...and there you have it!:)
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm hoping these little butterflies will help our weather turn more spring-like...are any of you experiencing spring weather?! Have a wonderful day!!
