Challenge time!

It always make me happy when I make a card for a challenge and get it made before a few weeks have passed! This card qualifies for Sketch Challenge 199 and Color Challenge 189 over on Splitcoast. I am working on building my supply of cards for an upcoming "craft fair" and I need some baby cards! I love the 'wild about you' stamp set! It's been a fun go-to set for kid type cards.

Pink Pirouette card. Chocoalte chip designer paper for polka-dot strip. WW scalloped edge(with the edge punch). A fat strip of Kiwi Kiss was scalloped and tied with a chocolate chip ribbon and attached to on top of the polka dot strip. I stamped the giraffe in c.chip ink, then colored the spots in with a blender pen-just dipping into the lids of pp, and kiwi kiss. I also applied a little shimmerz paint to the pink dots, to make them shimmer!! The sentiment comes from the nursery necessities stamp set(another fun!). I stamped it in chocolate chip ink, punched it out with the large oval punch, and then mounted it on a kiwi kiss 'key tag' punch. The flower was punch from the tri flower punch. I did attach the sentiment with dimensionals. So there you have it...I busted a few of these out...but I think I might try again with a more "boy" look.

Thanks for stopping by! Make it a super duper one!!

When you prepare for a craft fair are you selling your cards or Stampin' up products? I am curious (if it is cards your selling) how you display them. It makes me insane because they can be destroyed, damaged, dirtied, so easily! I've had cards on consignment in a local boutique and some do being to show signs of wear and tear from handling which of course lends itself to "no one buying those last few". Are there protectors that can be purchased for individual cards? If so, would it be practical?

This card is so sweet with these challenge colors. Adore how you did two colors on the giraffe's spots.
