LAD sketch 43

I konw I'm a little late on this--the challenge came out last Monday--but better late than never? Huh? Josyln did a great sketch-she is a minimal layer girl, and I love it! I decided to use the little mermaid stamp from the By the Sea stamp set. I think she is super cute...and my daughter LOVES her!
My card base is one of the new In Colors from Stampin' Up!. This fantastic blue is called Pacific Point...an awesome blue!! I stamped my mermiad in a black-noir palette ink, and colored her with an blender pen and the lid of my pacific point blue ink pad. The orange color--her hair included is the Tangerine Tango new In color. I love it!! The Scallop circle is Baja Breeze blue..delightful! I used my Marvy Uchida punches for the scallop, and the tangerine circle. Then the mermaid was punched out with the new 1 3/4" circle punch. I stamped celebrate you from the LAD set Say it in Script. I punched it out with the 1 3/8" circle punch, and then attached it a little over the edge of the card. I then used my paper piercing tool and pierced around the circple punches-to give a little detail. Yes, the mermaid is glittified with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and a little two-way glue pen.
