SC179 and CC169

I really do love doing the SCS daily challenges, although lately, my challenge is sitting down to accomplish them! I did squeeze a little time today, and thought I'd work on a couple of baby cards. Today's card qualifies for two challenges..how fun is that!? So, here are CC169, and SK179.

I've had the Sweet Celebrations stamp set for a few months, and never inked it up! I think it is really fun for new babies...and I'm excited to use it in Ruby's baby book! The stamps that come with it are super cute too, circles and scallops...love it!! So, since there are a bundle of babies coming into the world right now, I thought I'd stock up on my supply of cards!

The card base is Blue Bayou, the Real Red polka dot paper is from the level 1 hostess "print pack" and the other polka dot is from the soft sky designer paper pack. I just cut strips of them and grabed a scrap of real red cardstock. The sketch made putting it together super quick! I inked up the "sweet bundle of love" stamp in Blue Bayou ink, and punched it out with the blue marvy uchida circle punch. I grabbed the pink circle scallop punch and punched out the red scallop and attched it to the ww circle. I just got some fun new "sticky" from Jody Morrow's "sticky sale" and yippy...super fun! I tied a little piece of red gingham ribbon through a clear button and then used a new sticky circle that is a perfect size, 3/4" circle to attach the button to my real red polka dot circle, that had been punched using a 1" circle punch. Then I used dimensionals to attache the scallop to the front of the card! Super quick and easy! I can't believe that Blue Bayou is almost retired...I haven't used it near enough!! It is such a great color! Yes, I do have my little stock pile! Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great day!!:)

Hi Jen! I like this a lot. You're never gonna go wrong with polka dots / especially red!
Hey, I got a chance to use a couple of die cut blooms, thanks for the inspiration!
My best,
