So, this card started with a bashful blue card base. I went to grab a piece of that cardstock today and boy, I've been neglecting it! It is oneof my favorite colors ever!! I was excited to use an oldy but goody! Next, the old olive patterned paper-from the summer picnic collection, farewell my friend!! Today is the last day of the occasions mini, so I have to say good-bye! I do still have a new unopened package...of course!! I used my scallop scissors for the two scalloped edges, both done with WW cs. I next added another strip of summer picnic paper-the bashful blue kind-of polka-dot paper...right above my ww scallop, then tied it up nice with some beautiful real red ribbon! I love this wide ribbon..love, love, love!! Ok, so for the circles, I used my circle punches-are you surprised? :) Do I do anything w/o my dear punches? Not very often! So I grabbed a piece of real red cs and using the 1 3/8" circle punched a "center" for my scallop. After I punched my circle, I lined the scallop up right along the edge of the circle, giving me a little "window". I then started punching the bashful blue paper in assorted sizes, 1 3/8 for the center of my red flower, 1", 3/4", and 1/2" for the center of my brad! I used build a brad for a little coordinating flower center...love those things!! Ok, next I just attached the circles across my card, added a rub-on sentiment, and bam! (Ok, so yes, I miss the Food Network!!) I think I'll get a little stash of these into my basket..fun and cute!! Oh, I almost forgot my old olive felt flower...love the flower fusion!!Ok, so tomorrow...Lizzie Anne Designs turs 2 years old! There are going to be all sorts of fun things going on this month, celebrating their birthday, and also getting ready for a new release of stamps!! Don't want to miss out on this party! I will be posting some fun LAD samples and such...and there will be some blog candy coming your way too!!! So, stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
