I had so much fun being part of the Got Sketch 101 class. It helped me feel excitement about getting back into my photos...and while there aren't photos on this post, I have a few layouts that I'll be sharing in the next few days. This card sketch was one of the great sketches from the class...I'm thinking I'd like to try to apply it to a page...we'll see how fast I can get that accomplished!:) So, this card started with a bashful blue card base. I went to grab a piece of that cardstock today and boy, I've been neglecting it! It is oneof my favorite colors ever!! I was excited to use an oldy but goody! Next, the old olive patterned paper-from the summer picnic collection, farewell my friend!! Today is the last day of the occasions mini, so I have to say good-bye! I do still have a new unopened package...of course!! I used my scallop scissors for the two scalloped edges, both done with WW cs. I next added another strip of summer picnic paper-the bashful blue kind-of polka-dot paper...right above my ww scallop, then tied it up nice with some beautiful real red ribbon! I love this wide, love, love!! Ok, so for the circles, I used my circle punches-are you surprised? :) Do I do anything w/o my dear punches? Not very often! So I grabbed a piece of real red cs and using the 1 3/8" circle punched a "center" for my scallop. After I punched my circle, I lined the scallop up right along the edge of the circle, giving me a little "window". I then started punching the bashful blue paper in assorted sizes, 1 3/8 for the center of my red flower, 1", 3/4", and 1/2" for the center of my brad! I used build a brad for a little coordinating flower those things!! Ok, next I just attached the circles across my card, added a rub-on sentiment, and bam! (Ok, so yes, I miss the Food Network!!) I think I'll get a little stash of these into my and cute!! Oh, I almost forgot my old olive felt the flower fusion!!

Ok, so tomorrow...Lizzie Anne Designs turs 2 years old! There are going to be all sorts of fun things going on this month, celebrating their birthday, and also getting ready for a new release of stamps!! Don't want to miss out on this party! I will be posting some fun LAD samples and such...and there will be some blog candy coming your way too!!! So, stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
