Thinking of You

I needed to make a card for one of my dearest and oldest friends, I just found out that her father passed away, very unexpectedly! I feel so bad..I wish I could be there for her to cry on my shoulder! I feel really far away (like across the world), when I hear things like this...but I'll get this in the mail and she'll hopefully know how I am praying for her and her family. I spent so much time with her growing up...her family all mean so much to me...life is really precious. It is amazing how things like unexpeced deaths cause me to make sure my prioritys are where I really want them to be....just a thought.

So, I love this paper, it is from My Minds Eye and part of the Bohemia line, this one is called brown with light blue paisley. Anyway, I wanted to use this paper and thought instantly of the LAD set, Jolies Fleurs! It is perfect to use with this great paper! I stamped the paisley in soft sky onto the soft sky card for a great subtle background...and then the strip of chocoalte chip down at the bottom is also stamped with one of the little flower flourishes in chocolate chip ink. The sentiment is from the Simply Sentiments set. I'm also really excited that I finally busted out one of these sheer white flowers! It is from the Maya Road Sheer Collection. It's fun, there 48 different flowers in two different sizes, a lot of fun! They are made out of plastic...so lots of possibilities with these...I'm making a goal to use 3 more of them before the end of the month, so check back and see how I do.

My sweet Ruby is calling, so I'm off for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Oh,

I am so sorry to hear.
The card is beautiful and very harmonic to the eye.
I hope they will get throw this time with all the power that they need.

I will pry for them too.
It is always hard to lose someone close.
