money holders

So my mom was aking me the other day for a few wedding and holiday cards. I was thinking that she likes to give checks/money/gift cards for wedding gifts, and I thought I'd make a few of them to fit the stampin' up open ended envelopes. I just cut the paper so that I had a flap to fold "up" and make a little pocket on the inside of the card, nothing fancy, but very functional! I don't have any dollars right now...we only use Euros-and since they differ greatly in size, I didn't want to use one of them to make the sample! Anyway, I made a few of these holiday cards, then a few birthday cards, and will finish off with a few wedding cards-my parents are in invited to more weddings....she is always ordering them! On the Ho Ho Ho, card, I made a band using cardstock, so the card will stay closed on it's own.

ww, real red, pixie pink c/s(su), misc. patterned paper, old olive classic ink(su), simply sentiments stamps(LAD), circle punches-(EK, MU), old olive grosgrain ribbon (su).

same supplies as listed above, but used Holiday cheer stamps from (LAD)

Thanks for dropping by! Have a great day!

Hi Jen! Love these money holders/cards!! I am dying to know where you got the scallop punch!? I thought Stampin' Up sold it, but cannot find it online. Is it the Giga Marvey Uchida? Please tell!? ;)
