TGIF!!

I am so happy that today is FRIDAY! This week has gone by so fast! I think it went so fast because Wendesday was a national holiday and my son and husband didn't have to go to work or school!:) Yippy!! We had a great family day and went to Octoberfest! It was amazing! Yes, the whole country was there with us, but it was great....beautiful warm (almost hot) weather, and so much to see! It was quite an experience! So then yesterday felt like Monday maybe, I started laundry all over again....etc.....oh and stayed up WAY too late finishing the book "New Moon"...I am completely in trouble lately with great books! I read "Twilight" in 2 days, then had to start "New Moon," it kills me that I finished it in 2 days too!! But, when I've got a good book, I can't lay it down!! So, now I'm not even going to peek at my "Eclipse" book until I hit Sunday night...really!!:) But I do love good books!!
Ok, so enough about me....here are a few samples that have just been uploaded to the
LAD Sketchbook! "Lizzie" just finished redesigning the sketchbook...and it is so great!! There are so many talented women on that DT! It is really a pleasure beyond words to be part of the team!:) Anyway...here they are!:)

I'd almost forgotten completley about my glossy paper...that stuff is so fun! And until I get the correct transformer for my heat tool....that kind of fun has to wait!:) So I stamped the daisy from the Daisy Dots stamp set-with a versamark and then used a sponge and colored the paper...I love the effect the versamark gives on glossy paper! The Thank you is from the Sketched Sentiments set...one of my favroite!

Supplies:pumpkin pie, chocolate chip, whisper white and glossy white c/s(su); versamark ink pad, chocolate chip, pumpkin pie and really rust classic ink (su); Daisy Dots and Sketched Sentiments (LAD); Ribbon (may arts), photo corner punch (su).

I am really happy with this little card...I think I could feel the need to mass produce it...it's a great little note card size! I also happen to LOVE this color combination! As you all know, anything with chocolate chip, old olive...and hello how great a color is Bordering Blue!? One of my all time favorites!! So, I just used the little daisy, also from the daisy dots stamp set...and the thinking of you is from the Simply Sentiments set...I love that one too! Just a clean little thinking of you...love it!!

Supplies:bordering blue, chocolate chip, and wwhite c/s(su); chocolate chip classic ink (su), Daisy Dots and Simply Sentiments stamps (LAD); old olive grosgrain ribbon (su), 3/4" circle punch and 1" circle punch (su), scallop scissors (pc), olive rhinestones (mm), dimensionals(su).

I'm really excited about WCMD!!! I can't wait! I've got time to play tonight...so I'll try to get some samples up!! Oh, and don't forget to checkout the Lizzie Anne Designs site tomorrow...they've got all sorts of fun planned!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Jen - love the daisy card SO much! So cute. And great job breaking out Bordering Blue again. Remember when we used that all the time? I wonder how it got shifted to the background. And I can't wait to discuss the Twilight books with you when you're all done. I love them all so much but Twilight is still my fave. I've gotten a bunch of my coworkers to read them too. And Conference tomorrow - woo hoo! Tell Tyler I'll be waiting for his report out after he watches the Priesthood session! lol ;) And great job on the family blog too - love the updates and pics. Miss you TONS!

Hey! Totally fab stuff, as always... Don't forget to ask me about the 300watt transformer I have in my trunk for you. It's probably enough for your heat tool. If not, I've got a 750W one that I can sell you cheap.
