Coaster Card

So, I've had some coasters for quite some time, and didn't really know what to do with them. And since I'm really trying not to hoard my supplies(Boni, you can do it:))I broke them out of the drawer yesterday and went to work! I saw a card, made of coasters and thought, isn't that smart! So, here is my mother-in-law's birthday card! It is fun to have the support of the coasters…they stand quite well! I put a page of pink passion c/s in for us to write on, and the coasters are lined with gable green c/s on the inside covers.

As I mentioned in the post about my daughters numbers book, the anywhere glue stick from SU is great for chipboard and paper! I've been very happy with the results, and I don't have to wait while the adhesive dries or anything! That is a very good thing! I used the crop-a-dile for punching the holes in the coaster..so easy!! I love that new tool! I think it is soon to be a favorite! My only wish today, was that I had more than one color eyelets that were 3/16th size. This project would have been just a tiny bit better…had I had bigger eyelets! But, I'm still happy with it! And of course, I used "happy" from petals and paisley…I LOVE this font…it makes me happy just looking at it! Scallop punch…of course!

Oh, and I did see that Stampin' Up! will carry a new smaller scallop circle punch in the new catalog! I'm finding it hard to sleep…I can't wait to see the new catalog!!!

Have a great day all!! Enjoy the beautiful weather, we've been around 90 F, (I only know the F,(not too good at C yet, but I'm working on it!) thanks to my "atomic clock"), with no A/C, I'm just staying in the shot of the fans, stampin' away!!

All supplies SU unless noted. Super cute! And you are using your "stash." I hoard it all, but I am trying to use it and not buy more (my famous last words...then I find things I can't live without.) I'm wanting that three for you punch, the scallop punches, etc.
