Happy Saturday!! Saturday means a new Retro Sketch!! So, today's sketch was bases on a card of Tracey's here. And here is the new sketch!
And here is my card!
I used a "bokeh" technique that I've seen a few times, and well my friends, I LOVE it!!! I finally got me a unicorn white ink pad form Hero Arts, it made this work SO much better than the last time I tried it w/o the unicorn ink, so get yourself a white unicorn ink pad from hero arts!!
The technique is super simple--I used some distress ink to color the background--peacock feathers and crushed olive. Then I punched three different sized circles out of scratch paper for my "stencil". I used a sponge and just put white circles all over! I used different "strength" of white ink, so I used the sponge and then reinked, and also used the sponge several times before reinking--to get lighter and darker ink. I have to say I LOVE this technique!! The "happy" die is from Avery Elle and the "Birthday" is from Hero Arts.
Thanks for stopping by!! Can't wait to see your take on the sketch!
