Thankful

Hello dear friends! I am so happy to be popping in today! I can't believe how crazy last week was! We had a bunch of stuff going on that really took me by storm! One thing that was a bit unusual was attending the funeral of a sweet 12 year boy in our community. He was the son of my son's orthodontist. We attended the funeral...it was a wonderful celebration of a wonderful young man. His parents were so great!! I felt thankful for being able to go and attend that service.

Today is the Gourmet Rubber Stamps design team sketch challenge! I thought of what kind of card I wanted to make, and decided that on this great berry wreath stamp...isn't it great!? It is from the Circles of Christmas stamp set. You should run over to the blog and see the other girls' work and the sketch...
I am going to send this card to the parents of sweet Jackson. My heart is hurting for them and yet, I am so thankful for the examples they have been during this tragic time. I am thankful for them...and want them to know it!

I have been taking inventory of what really matters...since last week. I know that a backpack on the floor and shoes on the stairs don't matter...but enjoying every day with my sweet children really does matter. Please hold your sweet ones a bit tighter today...and be sure to let the ones you love know it!!

Take care dear friends and I'll be back tomorrow. By the way, I'm thankful for you all too!!
