Sentiments Squared!

Good morning friends! I hope you are all well! I am hosting the Weekly Recipe sketch challenge this week over on the GRS blog...I'd love for you to join us! Today is also a fun day, as GRS is releasing new Appetizer stamps...and you are going to love them!

I needed cards for my kids to take to some birthday parties this week. I was wanting to use this fun birthday block stamp, form the Sentiments Squared set. Isn't that a great birthday sentiment!? I challenged myself to use the one sketch for all three cards, and to use the same stamp on all three cards. The two girl cards were easy, but the card for my son's friend required a little more...as the stamp has a few "girl" items on it.

So, here are the cards I created! First up, the boy card. I added a few little cardstock squares, just a little square punch. I added a little star, to cover up the heart and most of the balloon--but I think part of it showing is fine!
Here is the first of the girl cards. I love being able to customize the cards to match the favorite colors/etc of the recipients...doesn't that make you happy!?
Here is my last card. Yes, orange is the birthday girl's favorite color!
Thanks a bunch for stopping by today! I'd really love you to join us on the sketch challenge, you can upload your samples to the GRS facebook page...we'd love to see them!

Take care, and make it great!!

Hi, I'm visiting your blog from the Moxie Fab World's current "challenge" to visit 10 random blogs that are a part of the Moxie Fab World blog list! I'm glad to stop by.

Covering up the flowers and heart to turn a "girly" stamp into one good for boy worked really well.

TFS!
