I wanted to share a couple of the cards we made for my Just for Girls card classes this past Wednesday. I had two classes and all the girls really enjoyed the projects...that is so fun. We made 4 cards and they got to choose one of the 4 to send to Grace, and they got so excited to write her a little note and pick the perfect card to send to her...it was super!!
I've seen several cards and projects around the internet with wonderful butterflies...this card was inspired by a wall hanging I saw on The Idea Room this week. I used some retired SU paper(that I just LOVE), my MS butterfly punch, Swiss Dots embossing folder and some Tempting Turquoise cardstock. I also gave each of the girls 3 rhinestones to add some bling to their butterflies. On the inside of the card is where we placed the "Thinking of You" sentiment.
This card was made with one of my favorite SU stamp sets, Circle Circus. I used Regal Rose, Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point and Melon Mambo for the color choices. We stamped each stamp in the coordinating ink and then chomped two corners of each 2" square. The vanilla bow is mounted on a large clear button and then the sentiment is from the Really Retro(retired) SU set.
