Good morning friends! Happy Thursday to you all. I'm excited to share my DT challenge card with you this morning. I happen to LOVE green. I'm not sure if you were aware of that or not, so I wanted to start my post by just letting you know!:)
I used my Foliage fervour, Floral fervour and Floral tags-circles stamp sets today. We had a sketch to use for the challenge today, so here is what I made with it! You can see the sets here, in the Elzybells store. My card base is old olive cardstock followed by a layer of white cardstock and then my top layer is certainly celery cardstock. I stamped the Foliage fervour stamp was inked with olive ink and then stamped several times on celery paper. Next, I inked up my little flower from the Floral fervour stamp set, with Sugar Candy pigment ink-also from Elzybells. I used some white embossing powder and my heat tool to emboss the flowers. I sponged a little celery ink around each of the white flowers.
I tied a nice pretty bow around the center and then added my little sentiment. I stamped the happy mother's day circle with olive ink onto olive cardstock then used my nesties to cut it out. I mounted it on a white scallop circle, also cut with nesties. For the center of my circle, I used a bit of my "scratch paper" from my card front and just punched it out with a 1 3/8" circle punch and then added some rhinestones.
I hope you get a chance to look at the DT and their fun cards they made for this challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great one!
