Good morning! This is my 2nd post for today! I am excited to share a bit more of the Elzybells love! Today we'll be sharing some fun from the Tag Valentine and Tag Valentine II stamps. I've had a great time working with these stamps and am SURE that you'll have just as much fun!

Yes, I'm stuck in a color palette!! The great thing about this palette, it works really well with the new Coordinating Colors that Elzybells is releasing on Monday! It is enough to make me very happy! Aren't these colors just that, 100% Happy!?

I started with a white card base. I used some American Crafts Craft Fair line paper and then a strip of crushed curry(su). I used my apron lace border punch to create a nice little border. A strip of crushed curry ribbon and yum...delicous! I stamped my heart image with Strawberry Fool ink and the with love image was stamped with Sticky Toffee ink. I love these colors...perfect together!

Isn't this a fun little box!? I have a few Valentine gifties to make and think something along these lines will be on my horizon! Using a die template (Box #2 from SU) and my Big Shot makes boxes like this a breeze!
I used some Strawberry Fool paper for my box. I stamped some hearts-large heart from Tags Valentine and the small heart from Tags Valentine II--with Strawberry Fool, Pink Lemonade, and Sticky Toffe ink. I put the box together, added some sweet chocolate treats inside, and moved to the making of the tag.

I stamped a heart image with Strawberry Fool ink onto Strawberry Fool paper. I stamped the "with love" image with Sticky Toffee ink and then used my nestabilites and Big Shot to make the circle and scallop. I tied a nice chocolate chip ribbon(su) around the box, added the tag, a flower and red button to complete the little gift.

This third card was made with Tags Valentine II stamps. I love that these stamps make great tags for gifts etc., but they make great focal images for cards, embellishments, etc.! I love the versatility of these great stamps!

I used the AC paper again...I'm stuck! I saw this heart pattern and knew it was a match made in heaven! I started with a Baja Breeze (su) cardbase and then added a layer of the AC paper. I used a scalloped scallop border punch(each little scallop is scalloped!) and baja breeze paper, the polka dot strip is also a AC paper. I used my harringbone cuttlebug embossing folder on some crushed curry(su) cardstock and made a perfect place for my heart image! I used baja breeze ink and stamped the circle of hearts(I LOVE this stamp!) and then added a crushed curry solid heart to the center. The "wonderful you" was stamped with Sticky Toffe ink. I used my nestabilities and Big Shot again for my circle and scallop circles.

Another thing I really like about these sets is that they are coming out for you to purchase right before Valentine's Day, but they can be used ANY time! Any occasion can call for hearts and coordinating sentiments...I think they are so great!

My last card for today is similar to the one just above it, but I wanted to show how great the images work, all by themselves! This little "With Thanks" crad was super quick, and very easy, but gives a great bang for your buck! I love that you can get a lot of milage from well designed stamps...you can use them for more than just one occasion!

So, this little card is baja breeze cardstock, the ac polka dot, curry ribbon and a chocolate chip brad. My nestabilities went to work again...quick and easy. I know I'll come back to these Tag sets again and again!

Hope you enjoyed my posts today! I'd love to hear what you have to say about these new stamps! Just think tomorrow, you will be able to put these sets in your shopping cart and get them on their merry way to your house! Yes, they are wonderful and you will love them! Take a peek at the other DT designs...their links are in my sidebar to the left!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate you and visits! Good luck for a great week!

The box is gorgeous. It's a shame that the SU dies are not available here in Germany...

How do you get your ribbon to ruffle and "lay down" so well. Is there a certain adhesive or trick you use?

I was going to ask the same question! I would like to know how you get that ribbon ruffle affixed - I saw a card of yours with this same technique in CARDS magazine/book and looked your blog up to see if you explained how to do it! :o) I don't have a sewing machine so I can't stitch my ribbon and I want this technique on some of my cards. Thanks! Cute stuff - I've bookmarked you!
