Hey friends! Happy Friday! My husband is home from his trip to East Lansing, Michigan(Go GREEN!) and we're excited for a slightly-well, not really but we're trying-relaxing weekend! We've just finihsed reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with my kids and tomorrow is our "Chocolate Factory" movie night! Jonny Dep...love it!! I've got a Just for Girls class this afternoon, and it is for my daughter's friends...she is SO excited! I'll share some of the projects next week! So, it looks to be a great weekend, yea!!
I used CPS 137 sketch for the starting point of this card...and yes, I have another "Love you SEW much card" I need to share. I have a couple of people in mind that I need to send them too...so I thought I'd share before it goes postal! I've come to the conclusion that I've got to get back into the habit of sending cards. I was really good, then being in Germany distracted me a bit...I did send some, but not as many as I was used to sending. And since I've been home...NOT happening! So, I'd making a resolution to share what I've made...not to stock pile it!:) So, I've got a pile to take to the post office tomorrow!:) This sewing machine is from the LAD October Mix. I love it. As one having a slight fear of my machine...did I just say that out loud!?...I'm hoping to defeat that fear and use that fun thing for more than just a couple of quilts...there is too much great fabric out there!!
My patterened paper is from DCWV-Retro Mod Collection. The yellow is summer sun. The scallop was made with the EK wide scallop border punch. The ribbon is crushed curry from SU. and I used a couple of circle punches too...fun, fun, fun! Oh, and I used copics to color in the sewing machine.
Hope you have a great weekend planed! See you Monday!! Make it a good one!
