A Little Pear Note

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! We had a fun/crazy/family filled weekend. It was great! I'm home doing laundry, finishing up the weekend "fun" that is all over our house...just a typical Monday!

Today I want to share a little "pear" note with you! This cute little pear image as well as the sentiment are from the October Monthly Mix from LAD. I love it! I wanted to "pear" it with this little note sentiment, for a little card to send, just because.
My card layout was inspired by Taylor V's TES86. I thought that my pear was a great focal image for this layout. I stamped it with burnt umber palette hybrid ink and colored it in with copic markers. I mounted it on some chocolate chip cardstock and then a patterned paper from my DCWV Recycled stack. I love that stack!!

My card base is whisper white. I added a layer of patterned paper from the same Recycled stack and added my pear. My scalloped border was made with my punch and yet another pattern from the said stack. My embellishment was made with a ribbon, button and a couple of circles, 1" and 1 1/4". My sentiment was stamped in chocolate chip ink and then mounted on more circles. The the 1/4" circles are just "faux brads" punched out of cardstock and attached with mini glue dots.

I'm so happy, I've got a large stack of cards for the mail man today...that is such a happy feeling! Don't you love getting something other than bills and junk mail in your mail box!? I'm really pumped to have gotten so many notes written the is weekend! YEA!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Take care and make it a great one!!
