Hello Again!

Good late morning/afternoon friends! I'm happy to be with you this morning! I've had my family in town for the past week--having a wonderful time--and just didn't quite get to sharing my postings! It was great to have them up, my mom and dad, older brother, and little sister and cuteness family came for a visit! We went to the Mariners vs. Yankee baseball game, Wicked(oh my word the 3rd time, it's still my favorite!), sightseeing in Seattle...it was a perfect weekend! The weather was WONDERFUL....completely fall...oh, it was just perfect. My kids enjoyed the time to share their "turf" with their cousins, it was just 100% perfect!

So, they all left yesterday, yes, my daughter and I did cry...it is hard to have the fun end and our dear ones go home! I'm playing catch up this weekend, that's for sure! I'm excited to share some fun projects with you!

This project today is a fun-kind of non-traditional halloween color card. I have this great paper-it is from the DCWV Mod stack--it's such a great combination of papers! I thought it would make a fun halloween card....what do you think?
The beautiful stamped image comes from the LAD Hallow's Eve stamp set. Isn't it divine!? I love it!! I've got a fun little project to share tomorrow that I made, using the stamp in an entirely different way!

My card is a pumpkin pie base. I attached my patterened paper and the added my scalloped(ek success) lilac cardstock. I added a strip of pumpkin ribbon with some sticky strip. I tied my bow, leaving a really long left side--and then just stuck it down on the sticky strip and there you have it.

My sentiment was stamped in pumpkin ink and stamped onto vanilla paper. I added a 3/4" lilac circle, punched out with my circle punch, then added a pumpkin brad just overlaping the circle a little. I mounted it onto pumpkin cardstock and then added another lilac scallop. I mounted them both on a layer of saffron cardstock. I attached this layer to the card with dimensional adhesive.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are enjoying the wonders of Fall...where ever you are!! Make it a great one!
