Happy Halloween

Happy Wednesday friends! I'm happy to get a chance to sit down and share with you today! I've had some fun with "Fall" being in the air...it is so delicious! I found some pumpkin ice cream today at the store...my daughter's b.day party will be that much better with pumpkin ice cream! I'm so excited. I've got the Ginger candle burning, bring on the red leaves, soccer season, crock pot dinners, spiced apple cider...I could go on and on!

So, my card today is another sketch from LAD. It was last week's sketch from Joslyn #95. I love her clean fantastic style...and had fun making this card! I used the Hallows Eve stamp set again for this card. I think this Halloween stamp set is so fun, great sentiments and fantastic images! I do love this black cat!
So, onto the card. I used a white card base. My dsp is from Stampin' Up!. I stamped my cat with black ink, then ran my Versamarker(aka favorite tool today!) over it and then shook on some clear embossing powder and heated it with my heat tool, so the cat has a super shine! I love the part of embossing that encourages people to touch the shine...love that!

I mounted my cat on black cardstock that I used my EK scallop border punch on. I know it's hard to see in this photo--if even at all, but in real life you can see it easily! I used some circle punches to make my little circle embelishment. I used 3 nesting sized and then just "scrunched" my paper up until it looked like I wanted it to. I punched a hole in the center of all three and then tied my ribbon into a bow, and put the long ends behind the circle--and attached the ribbon to the card with some sticky strip.

My sentiment was stamped in two parts, and then punched out with my word window punch.

I hope you have a great day today! We're getting ready to have some soccer tonight, family come to town(we're going to see WICKED on saturday...YEA!), and all sorts of fun! Thanks so much for stopping by! Make it great!
