This card was supposed to be posted last week...it the week of cork, but it missed being posted! So, here is a fun birthday card I made last week.
I started with a Whisper White piece of paper. I stamped my stem from the For All You Do stamp set, in Old Olive ink three times for my three flowers. I used a different flower choice for each flower-on the left a Die Cut Bloom pumpkin pie flower with a circle rhinestone brad. In the center, a cork flower that was cut with the Bloom Party die and my Big Shot, I added a rhinestone brad to the center of a Pumpkin Pie button, from the Sherbet button set(that you can get free for just a few more days...read this post to learn how!) And the last flower was cut out with my Big Shot and Daisey #2 die, it has a cork circle(a left over from the Bloom Party cut) and a rhinestone brad in the center.Once my flowers were finished, I tied it all up with some stripped Pumpkin Pie ribbon. I did one flat ribbon across the card, then added a "loop" of the stripped ribbon and 1/4" regal rose grosgrain. The added a button, from the Button Latte set of buttons (yes, you can get this one free too!)
After I had that main panel all finished, I mounted it on a layer of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then layered that on my card, which was Regal Rose.
My sentiment came from the my new A Little Birthday Cheer stamp set. I stamped it with Old Olive ink and then used my Modern Label punch to give a fun to my sentiment. I attached the sentiment with dimensionals and that finihsed it all off!
I hope you are enjoying your day! We've got a couple more weeks before school starts, and are trying to enjoy these last few lazy days! I love summer!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
See you tomorrow, with some LAD new Monthly Mix samples!!
