Thank You Kindly

Thank You Kindly, Verizon Internet! I didn't have access to the Internet yesterday...and as I patiently waited for my husband to come home and fix the problem, we learned it was more...but they weren't going to be able to come fix it until Monday...and then when I thought I'd just "try" today, it worked!! Yea, and I wonder what the problem was/is?!

I'm happy to be back online and in the "now"...it is amazing what the computer does in a typical day of my life! So, here is Thank You card--using the super cute Sweets and Treats stamps and Circle Sentiments stamp sets. As I've been organizing my workspace/studio I've been rediscovering so many fun products!! I'm determined to really get more use out of more products...that is why I buy them! So, I grabbed this great paper pack by Making Memories it comes with die-cut shapes/frames and paper, so coordinating come easily! I used the Mojo Monday Sketch 92 for the inspiration for my layout.

I started with a Very Vanilla card base. I layered my Apricot Appeal cardstock and paisley paper, and then wrapped them with Apricot Appeal 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, then attached that layer to my card base.

I stamped the Popsicle in Chocoate Chip ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then stamped it again on a Olive patterned paper, from the same MM paper collection. I cut my olive patterned Popsicle out and put it right into it's spot on the Very Vanilla paper (thus Paper Piecing) and then used my large oval punch to make it an oval. I used my scallop oval to make an olive frame for my Popsicle!

The apricot frame is part of the MM kit. I just placed a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock behind it and then stamped my sentiment "Thank You Kindly" from the Circle Sentiments stamp set, in Old Olive ink.

I attached my Popsicle to the card with some dimensionals and then made a bow from my Apricot ribbon to attach on the Apricot frame.

I love using products that go well together....they help the creative process go that much faster!!
