I had such a great day!! I hope you all got a chance to at least make a card yesterday! I had a class at my house-it's been a long time since I've had a class-and it was SO much fun!! I am so thankful for my friends that came..we really had a great time. Here are the cards that we made!
I LOVE tangerine tango with chocolate chip! I saw a card on SCS that hobbywoman did and I had to try my hand too! I used different paper, a different sentiment, scallops, and different ribbon, but thanks hobbywoman for the inspiration!! So, tangerine tango card, a strip of chocolate chip designer paper, ww cardstock, chocolate chip cardstock, chocolate chip ribbon, pocket silhouettes stamps, scallop square punch, and window word punch. I think this might be one I mass produce..it just looks so classy! And I love the layout! We laughed yesterday, I had 3 different cards to share-just putting the sentiment in a different spot, then ribbon knot on the right side, left side, etc., but what a great layout for limitless possibilities!
This card was quick, simple and so fun! I love watching the faces of first time embossers! A Kiwi kiss card started this party. We stamped the upsy daisy stamp, from the uspy daisy stamp set, in versamark ink, then using clear embossing powder gave the dasies a beautiful shine! I love the color they take on being embossed with clear powder! Then another design of the chocolate chip designer paper...LOVE it all!! The sentiment was stamped in chocoalte chip ink, punched out with the large oval punch, then a wide oval punch of kiwi kiss and attached with dimensionals.
This birthday card is featuring the starring you stamp set. Everyone had a great time making their star background!(right britt;)) We stamped the stars with kiwi kiss ink on kiwi paper, then attached to a ww card. The happy b.day circle was stamped 2 times, once with kiwi and again with baja breeze. We cut the star from the baja breeze circle and then glued it over the kiwi star, giving that fun 2 colored image. 1 3/8" punch was used to punch the white circle out then a 1 3/4" circle punched out of chocolate chip. A strip of baja breeze, the sentiment in chocolate chip, a strip of chocoalte chip and 3 1/4" cirlces attached as "faux" brads. We thought it would be fun to glitifiy some of the stars in the background...wouldn't that be fun!!
This last cards was the favorite of one party goer. She was SO excited to glitify!! Party Hearty was the stamp set used. Bashful blue card, washington apple designer paper, saffron mat on that. Cupcake and candle stamped in saffron, then again in Riding Hood Red. Party Hearty was stamped in RHR. We cut the top off the RHR cupcake and attached it with dimesionals. The cupcake was mounted on RHR cardstock. The celebrate you circle was stamped in RHR, punched out the 13/4" circle then mounted on a larger saffron scalloped circle(marvy uchida punch). After attaching the celebrating you circle, we gilitifed the card with a 2 way glue pen and dazzling diamonds!
We had a great time together, and it was so fun to introduce this part of me to some great new friends!! I've got another class on Tuesday...more fun!! If you are intested in a class kit, all ready for you to assemble, drop me an email and I'll get you set up!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Make it wonderful!!
