Party Animals

So, by now you've seen the Fall Release Sneak Peek Page over at LAD right?! Well, be sure to get back there today!! These cute little Party Animals...are so fun! I've had a great time working with them, they've made a bunch of birthday cards really fun to produce! These are some of the cards I used for my last b.day card order, but I had to wait until today to share them with you! So, here are my fun friends, the Party Animals! Paper for the above card was Baja breeze, Real Red, WW, and the patterned paper is an awesome stack from SEI! Isn't that paper to die for!! I stamped the birdie, colored her with blender pens and my Baja breeze ink pad, then outlined her with Sahara sand marker. She was punched with the blue size oval punch and then the red scallop oval punch-both by Mavry Uchida. The scallop edge punch--LOVE it! Real Red ribbon, window word punch...and there you have it!:)
This next card uses the same paper-the SEI paper added a bit of Blue Bayou(retried SU), and I' was so happy to have a reason to use it! That color really rocks with the Baja Breeze!! The sentiment is a bit light in the photo-but you can see it better IRL, it says Hot Dog! it's your birthday! The ribbon is the pomegranate double stiched (retired SU). The glitifed party hat was just outlined in two way glue, then doused in SU fine glitter. I love the glitter with this paper! Fun, huh!? I had to make some "guy" birthday cards, so this paper from AC made that super easy. Great colors for a manly card, don't you think!? Super quick and easy layout. I find that when making cards for guys, the less the better. Brads are a good emblishement, but I did a "faux" brad by just using a paper punch and mini glue dots for these "faux brads." See, punches are you friends!!

So, there is some new Lizzie Anne Fun!! For even more fun... I've updated the new Stampin' Up! promotions...October is Birthday time for Stampin' Up!, 20 years!! So, spend $20 in regular catalog merchandise and qualify to purchase any preselected birthday/celebration stamp sets at 20 perent off...you know that you want to check out those sets! I'm happy to get you taken care of for your birthday card supplies...just let me know!! I'll even help you pick out your paper;).

Thanks for stopping by!! Make today great!!
