Happy Thursday!

So, yesterday was a sad day for me-my oldest child started school! I'm in no hurry for him to grow up or to "go away" I keep telling him I'd like him to just stay small...be he insisits on growing up so that he can be "big like Daddy". When we picked him up yesterday he was happy and told me he'd had a good day...I'm happy about that, and he did want to go to school today...so I guess that's good, right?

So here is my offering for today. I just finished my Lizzie Anne Designs assignment, and thought I'd share them with you! I'll be posting them for the next 5 days. Oh, if you haven't been over to Lizzie Anne Designs recently, they have a little Sneak Peek of some of their new designs! You will love them! The new sets will be released on September 10, so go take a gander...you'll be excited!

For this card, I had to use the Funky Floral flower...that is probably my favorite stamp from Lizzie Anne, it is such a great flower!! I appreciate that it coordinates with the B stamp in the Happy Birthday set! I love coordination! I used the 3/4" circle punch and just lined my wasabi paper with them, it was a quick and very simple scalloped edge! I have used different scallop making methods, like using a corner rounder or a slit punch, but today I just wanted it to be super quick, and I think this method won! You might ask "why not just cut with scallop scissors?" Well, to answer that question, I have to admit a secret about myself, I can't cut straight with those things! I have tried and tried, but I don't get the results I want! Thus, the great easy "circle scallop!" And how about the Circle Rhinestone Brads in Fire and Ice? I love them!! So many fun new goodies to be had in the
Stampin' Up! Catalog!! I am really excited to use them all!:)

Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, and Sky Blue c/s(su), wild wasabi classic ink (su), Happy Birthday and Funky Floral stamps (LAD), sky blue ribbon (su), rhinestone brad (su), square scallop punches (marvy uchida), 3/4" circle punch (su), white gel pen(su).

Anyway, thanks for stopping by today! I really appreciate it!!

This card is gorgeous. I love layout and colors.

Congrats on your oldest child big milestone! We just started out 2nd year of preschool. I think it will be harder when my youngest heads out the door. We'll see.
